Because staying in Hawaii would have certainly provided Tua an opportunity to win a NC. You are a freakin' DA. But please continue with your melts.

I dont see where college football has been ruined.
First, stop with , well Alabama signs the number one class every year. No, they dont. Its actually been a few years now since Alabama was concensus number one.UGA and tOSU have out recruited Bama the last few years.
Other schools doing the same level of paying players began. THUGa of note and their $30,000,000 paid team
Thanks for the proof
You just proved Saban and his cheating have ruined

All he did was take advantage of national broadcasts, which allowed him to recruit coast to coast.
Jimmy Johnson had the same strategy with Jimmy and Joes beating X and Os, they just didn’t have games on TV every week. Which meant everyone stayed local.

No Saban is just a symptom.
The virus is the erosion of the culture that makes football great. Team>Me, etc. Coaches are just playing into what society has taught these recruits they need to hear to satisfy their egos enough.
It’s all about me and you getting me to the NFL (or as we are learning more and more, how are you going to get me a better NIL deal)

Is Saban the one who ruined college football?
There are teams that either haven't beaten them or only beaten them once in over a decade!
It's not fair, and Alabama/Saban should be banned!

Banning Saban would just take away the fun of beating him and sending him into retirement. Tennessee and UGA will both be huge problems for him in the near future. Possibly LSU as well.

I mean you don't even actually believe that. You didn't believe it when you said it about Butch Jones in 2016 or Jeremy Pruitt in 2019, either. You want/wanted to believe it, but you know it's not true.

I was NEVER a Pruitt supporter and i was luke warm on Butch at best and then ready for his demise once Dobbs, Barnett, Kamara and Hurd left.

Its been 15 years since the Vols beat Alabama. After reading your post, I'm pretty sure that's before you were born...Go do your homework.

It’d help if Tennessee could consistently play competent ball again. The problem isn’t Bama but teams like us who have been mismanaged for what feels like 20 years
Posted on 3/2/22 at 10:23 am to CrunchimusMaximusThe
quote:yea, definitely a blue blood over the last 20 years due to all of their BCS/NY6 wins… er I mean final four appearances… er I mean college World Series wins… er I mean lady volunteer basketball wins
You will NEVER be a blueblood of this conference like Tennessee is.
quote:and guess what: y’all voted us in unanimously. So it doesn’t really matter how much texas wants it, or Tennessee doesn’t want it to happen. It seems y’all are just along for the ride while others around achieve actual success
Tennessee would NEVER change conferences. You wanna be SEC punk
You should take a break from this site. You’re really bad at this shite-talking thing

I would say there are probably 110 schools in D1 that have no chance in the near future at winning a national title, and that same number existed before Saban arrived at Alabama. So there is a lack of parity but I don't think Saban is the one who caused it.

I've lost most of my interest in college football. Kinda just done with it. I've been a college bball fan for a long time as well. I'm just falling more into that.
For bball fans, I think the tourney this year will be one of the most entertaining. So many teams could pull it out. Gonna be fun.
LOL this is because fans are fickle and since AU is bad at football and good at basketball RIGHT NOW you feel this way. Deep down you know CFB is the most poplar and the cash cow for most every D1 school.

IDK
Several old traditional owners won't sniff a NC any time soon.
Nebraska,Tennessee,Penn State,FSU,Miami,Michigan and even ND fall into the category. And you won't see a school come from out of no where like Miami or Pitt did in the late 70's early 80's to become a national power.

Not at all. Don't care to spend 3 1/2 hours watching a football game. Basketball is 2 hours and quick paced.
Football is way more important to you than it is me. Trust me. People on here are ridiculous about this stuff. I haven't been into football for several years.
I live in NC. People here are much more into basketball than football. You should get out more. Not everybody thinks the way you think.

This is funny. He is talking about a much larger group of people, and you bring up an exception to the rule, a single state.

Is this why you suddenly reappeared after being missing for so long? You enjoy the whole terrible d thing your coach brings so much?
