True. We are also not referring to Gov forcing it.

Or maybe after 1 year.

The truth is a lack of competition makes a poor product. That's what we have now.

I agree. Those TV contracts and money should be put into game day. Expand it to the day before with activities for families.

make the game an unknown outcome. That means make the game more competitive.

And how would this be achieved? That would be socialism applied to college football. Successful teams shouldn't be punished or mitigated in strength because they win the most.

Do you support a model more like the NFL, where teams have a more even talent field? If so, how would that be accomplished?

Revise the ineligible receiver downfield rule. Make it so that linemen are only allowed to be no more than one yard past the line of scrimmage like they do in the NFL and strictly enforce that rule. That would do a lot to neutralize RPOs and the massive advantages offenses have over defenses in today's college game.

Not having Clemson vs bama every year would go a long way.

If not for Clemson’s emergence as a counterweight program, Alabama would likely have won two additional NC’s this decade. How boring would that have been for college football? The rest of the Country can thank Dabo later...

Contemplate that on the Tree of Woe...

I mean, that has been the case for many, many years.

CFB is the most uneven playing field of any sport ever known to man. It’s still the best though.

A little more parity would be nice of course, but that never happens without a draft or dropping the scholarship limit again

Targeting and blind side block rules not being absurd would be a start

But CFB has always been a bit of a bubble in its current form

Too many soy boy zoomers. They never grew up watching or appreciating sports, never had fathers who taught them anything worthwhile.

Society has been extremely feminized the past few decades and that's really hurt interest in sports among young "men"

-go to super 64 with 16 pod winners advancing to the playoffs

-centralized control of scheduling

-replace recruiting with a draft

the "haves" will never go along with this.

Lower ticket prices to compete with the tv experience. Attendance is down, but this next tv package is going to quadruple the current one. Face value ticket prices exceeding $100 has gotten ridiculous. Then schedule better games...which is happening. A 9 game conference schedule is a no brainer.

It was okay, for everyone other than South Carolina fans, until the rest of the country realized how retarded and idiotic you all’s fan base is.... now it’s not really okay, or fun, for anyone.

Please...every fan base has its share of “retards” and “idiots” including the battery tossing inbreds that populate the USCe student body at your home games.

You just sound bitter. Time to grow up and get over it.

I think the country in general is just worn out with Bama. Ticket sales are going down when you can watch on tv for the same results. Georgia still travels well but thats about it. I think CFB is missing a good Texas/Florida/California team. But they certainly have to do away with these shite games for $100 a ticket.

Something will have to be done or it's just going to die slowly.

Odd enough, the playoff system was put in place in 2014. The peak attendance was that year.

For us it is. But look at the numbers. College football is at a 24 year LOW. That's not this year. That's 2019

And revenue is at an all time high.Do you really need huge attendance numbers if this is the case?

How the hell can you draft kids to go to college?

This would hold up about 5 mins in a court of law.
