I know now how far UK has slipped that no one has mentioned Calipari.

Jimbo Fisher was a joke and the Ags paying him what they did made A&M look like fools. I am pretty sure no one hated JF.

I do not like Nate Oaks but he is a good HC. I like Bruce Pearl who is also a great HC. In fact I like most of the SECMBB coaches.

Buzz dresses well. Oats dresses like a used car salesman.

Jimbo ranked as unlikable by tRant standards. Now that we have Elko, I think our coaches are overall neutral on that scale now.

The most likable coach imo is probably Sam Pittman. That dude probably still has a job bc he’s too nice and well liked to fire.

Oats is absolutely a firebrand who is confident and even cocky, but he has no issues being gracious when he loses.

He also has no issues shite talking players in post game press conferences (and during the game).

The reason I can think of that he would be hated is that he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Nate is probably a decent guy but he is the rival's HC and he plays that part well too. Villain role comes naturally

I dig the rivalry and hope Bruce steps it up.

It's because he looks, dresses, and sounds like a sleazy used car salesman.

Oats is hated b/c of how he handled the Miller situation. Dude is insensitive and doesnt get it.

What dumbass justifies his decisions by referencing a call to Ray Lewis for advice? Once he stated that....I knew he was clueless as a person with any integrity or sense for being a good human.

All about wins. Nothing else. And for that reason alone, he sucks and all should hate him!

Mussleman is #2. He does have a punch me face...

Oats is a fricking thug. Can’t stand that prick. Makes for a great hardwood rivalry though.

2 things, I admit I would not like him if he was not the Bama coach. But A&M and Bama agreed to get off the court as quickly as possible and avoid handshakes last year. Not classless at all.

Agreed is a stretch. We were told there wouldn’t be handshakes. Buzz is too nice to ask why.

Probably. People hate Oates because he's the best basketball coach in the SEC.

Jimbo was not the most hated SEC coach. He was largely a non factor

That said, Nate Oats is a fricking piece of shite

He's hated because he's just a low class a-hole. The Miller situation was pretty much a no win position for him, but you can't really argue he handled it about as poorly as possible. I can remember being really impressed with how Shackleford and another (I forget who) Alabama player handled questions about it after one game and how horribly Oats handled it. Consistently put his foot in his mouth whenever possible.

I don’t see anything wrong with the way Oats, Buzz or Bjork dress. In fact, I think they dress very respectable given their salary and stature within their organizations.

They are all in good shape and dress sharp. I honestly think it’s a slap in the face when you're a state employee making millions of dollars and you’re a fat slob in a hoody.

That being said, winning cures most issues, if not all. Nobody cares about appearance if you’re winning.
