Again it is sad to see how many on this board see anyone criticize the Israeli government and then immediately call that person antisemitic

Fixed your quote to more accurately reflect what I see happening….
Wow, doubling down on your ignorance and your sweeping generalizations. My only emotional response is sympathy for whomever you come in contact with on daily basis.

By the way, for someone who uses the word “illiterate” so much, you may want to check in on the literacy of the person that wrote this:

quote:

…of evedy baby born…
quote:

Most boomers and Gen Xers were raised financially illiterate

Ridiculously ignorant statement. The cause of these delinquent loans needs more background information or facts before one could reasonably make any attributions as to cause. Could it be the parents that co-signed a loan are being identified by this data as the “delinquent “ person? Could it be that when the 1992 changes for student loans allowed for these types of loans to become a money making scam (as opposed to true “student” loans) that many unscrupulous older people took advantage of the system ?

All of these seem more likely to me. I know that I am older and myself and my friends that took out student loans (because our families could not afford to pay for college for us) ALL paid off our loans as soon as we could afford to.

However, I will refrain from making sweeping generalizations about people in your age group that want to dump on “boomers” to explain the ills of the world.
Yeah, I agree with you on your description of Brian Kelly.

I do not know how hard Harsin worked, but if he did work it was often on the wrong thing (recruiting…..?).

In terms of staying for the long term the bottom line is as you described it,…..winning overcomes all other shortcomings.
quote:

“Fit” should not be in the criteria at all. It’s almost cultish

No, …not almost,…it IS cultish. The example of Saban that you bring up is instructive because he overcame his shortcomings in the “fit” category at LSU and Bama through good results and determination to succeed using his own approach. However, his “major domo” personality does fit at SEC schools because most SEC fans and power brokers like the HMFIC attitude that Saban had.

However there have been a couple of recent examples of “fit” At SEC schools that caused issues:

Brian Kelly at LSU did not “fit”

Bryan Harsin at Auburn did not “fit” and was dead on arrival (I blame the AD for that one)

Hugh Freeze at Auburn did “fit” with his schmoozing of boosters and good recruiting, but this caused him to hang on too long despite some horrendous on-field coaching.

Unfortunately “fit” is a real thing that has an impact on a coach’s longevity.
There are some great points made in this article. Having worked in this area 10-20 years ago there were companies that forced unions to deal with the coming retiree healthcare liability massive costs. However, large Democrat cities with strong public unions and weak leadership have been continually pushing their retiree liability onto the larger American public through federal means (I.e. Obamacare). I am very glad to see some of this truth coming out.
Interesting that an Alabama fan takes such keen interest in Auburn’s morality. You are not on some lofty moral perch to look down your nose at us.
Will they refer to him as Koach Kliff Kingsbury?
I watched the Carlson/Fuentes podcast and did not know much about Fuentes prior to that, if you actually listen to what he says he makes some very good points. I do not agree with everything he said, but he makes some practical good arguments.

I do not believe several of the things you stated. As well, I have come to believe that the current Israeli government acts in its own self interest, and frequently does things harmful to the US. That is not hating Jews, and you seem so simple minded you cannot accept this concept (or are you a paid by the Zionist lobby to be an online influencer?).
Wow,…..deep.

Are you just a singer in a rock and roll band?

Here is an observation from yesterday’s game:

We stink on offense and it is just like the first game that CHF coached at AU, except we have better (or more expensive) players doing the stinking. If we stick with CHF we will be the #14, #15, or #16 team in the SEC every year, and I am SICK of hearing,”…we are so close….”
quote:

…sanctimonious BS you spewed…

While I agree he was somewhat talking down to people, you should realize your comments are more despicable. The problem is that people are unwilling to confront the uncomfortable truth that our health care system is designed to do two things: make money for providers, and pull more people into more frequently using health care in all its forms.

People like you are programmed to knee jerk to, “you question the system and that means you want poor unhealthy people to not get the help they need when they are dying from cancer,….you are an evil person”….that is ridiculous.
I worked with people in the “healthcare industry” and it never failed that they saw more people involved with “healthcare” more often as a good thing.

Doesn’t it make more sense to search for ways to have less people have less involvement (ie, they are more healthy) with the “healthcare industry “?

But the real problem is that the “healthcare industry “ is about making money, and not making people healthy.
Posts like this by an Alabama fan make me know that the fear of Auburn is real,……you can smell it all over their relentless posts obsessing over every little thing that they imagine is going on at Auburn.

…expectations at UCLA aren’t very high…

You are right, all lazy coaches that intend to have mediocre results and play against lower level competition should apply at UCLA instead of Auburn
quote:

Auburn has shown itself to be a place you can recruit Heisman winners, play for national championships, play against the best teams in the country

FIFY
quote:

Auburn won’t hire a guy that hasn’t already beaten Alabama

Auburn hired two coaches I can think of that had never beaten Alabama….when they were hired.

Pat Dye

Tommy Tuberville

They were able to change that after they got to Auburn…..
