You just called LSU a widely recognized university, but asked if LSU is as much of a widely recognized brand as they think. Okie dokie.

And considering that LSU was involved in the most highly viewed games of last season (and had more viewers in the NC than Clemson and Bama had the previous year even though the game this year was a week later than usual), it seems that the national brand is pretty strong.

Bigger question is how can anyone get blown out 44-16 by that lame arse ACC school?

Of course they’re a national brand. Have been since I’ve been alive. Known for exceptional talent year in and year out all over the field, just not always living up to team expectations.

If you don’t know this, you don’t know the SEC and football.

They’ll be in the mix long after Clemson’s little temporary run is done.

Care to explain why a lame ACC school can reach those heights so quick when such a widely recognized university is struggling to get 10 wins without outside help?

Can you read? I said LSU sits in the most fertile recruiting region in the country. Jesus Christ.

cAn U wEaDdD?? Lol you said LSU’s national brand isn’t as big as Ohio state’s and offered up LSU’s players’ hometowns as evidence why. I simply said LSU doesn’t need to go outside the region that often and that has little to nothing to do with national relevance.

If you don’t understand what you meant to say... I can’t help ya, bud. Sorry about the fiesta bowl though :(

LSU isn’t just a national brand, LSU is an international brand.

It’s the truth. Know other Ags probably not too fond of me for saying it.

I used to get amped in HS in the late 80’s starting the season with yall.

Y’all known for freakish athletes and talent.

Yall’ve always been a national brand, always will be. Just an honest outsiders view.

Yall are a measuring stick in a lot of ways for us right now (athlete wise).

I was surprised by the lack of an LSU presence in Florida. I honestly thought they'd have quite a few more players from the sunshine state.

Florida and Louisiana produce a lot of very good players at the same positions. They chase the big fish like everyone else (Patrick Peterson for example) but there’s no reason to go after a 4* from Florida with all of the talent in LA, MS and Texas.

If lsu isn’t a national brand then how did they get outside help?

I’d say Ohio is the same. Ohio State is a 9 win team with only Ohio talent. Fortunately they have a long reach in recruiting.

Realize we don’t have Texas next door. Sure, there are some top recruits in bordering states but they’ve developed a long reach.

In that conference sure! But in the SEC you would be a 6\7 win team at best with OHIO only football players.

So we’re struggling to get to 10 wins because we haven’t gotten to 12 wins in the last 15 years not including this last year.

Interesting logic.

O was just on foxnews the other day and had Trump talking about him recently. Not Jimbo, not Mullen, not Kirby. O. I’d say the LSU brand is very much national.

I think Lsu has 12 commits for 2021 now.

Guess how many are from Louisiana?

1- the punter from west Monroe.

If that isn't recruiting on a national scale IDK what is.

Then last year we got Elias Rick's who is the top corner in the nation from Cali.

Lsu does have two major targets from Louisiana in 5star Dt mason Smith and the athlete or safety Sage Ryan. there are others as well. We've started offering the best out of Louisiana only, cuz we're getting guys from Georgia like the 5 star tight end arik Gilbert and that olb Phillip Webb.

It's interesting to look at our current 2021 commits. There on the Lsu recruiting board.
