You're kinda missing my point.
Any given year, LSU signs about half it's class without leaving Louisiana. In 2016, LSU signed like, 17 players from Louisiana.
That's starting to change a little with Orgeron.

Only 11 players from Louisiana the past 2 classes and only 2 out of 12 in the current class I believe.

They've won three titles in the last twenty years, as much as it pains me, I'd say yes they are.
As Bama fans, we should love the challenge.

I must be miscounting something, because btw 2018 and 2019, I've got like, 22 LA recruits and another 5 for 2020.

It would be 2019, 2020 and 2021. The 11 might be a couple off. But, we have 2 committed for 2021.

Probably. You are stupid so miscounting wouldn’t be out of the ordinary for you.

LSU has 32 such players. 13 of those players are from Alabama and Georgia. Recruiting wise LSU is still overall more of a regional recruiting power but there's nothing wrong with that as the region is fertile recruiting grounds.
Responding to this, you have to consider the "regional recruiting".
Louisiana puts out a disproportionate number of good/great players, and LSU basically owns the market. Bama's made some inroads, but not beyond the occasional aggravating steal... LSU still gets the lion's share of instate players. If they get only the instate players, LSU is a 8-10 win team.
LSU has a very strong foothold along the I-10 corridor, from Houston to Pensacola. It's the closest SEC school. You cherry-pick from that group and you're now a 9-11 win school and likely a contender.
You then add in some national guys, namely a QB, and you're a title favorite.
It's been that way with a mongoloid approach to offense; now that the program has some glamour on offense it's easier to get those last few guys.

I’d say Ohio is the same. Ohio State is a 9 win team with only Ohio talent. Fortunately they have a long reach in recruiting.
Realize we don’t have Texas next door. Sure, there are some top recruits in bordering states but they’ve developed a long reach.

You’re knocking LSU’s national presence because the team sits within the greatest recruiting hub in the country—between Texas, Louisiana, and the rest of the south, LSU is set.
Saying this year’s 15-0 season didn’t make waves nationally because no kids from Boise suited up is definitely one, dumb, way to look at national presence

I didn't know they thought that!

We’re coast to coast now!
This offense is only just getting started to integrate the Sean Payton Template!
For the 2020 Recruiting Class, LSU offered 317 players, coast to coast
For the 2021 Recruiting Class, LSU offered 270 to date!
LSU Coast to Coast Offer List 2021
Second place isn’t even close !!!
LSU is a national brand and taking over in Recruiting!

Does not have a thing to do with being a national brand
Offers? Any school can offer anyone.

There are Gump idiots on this board, and then there is YOU, a Class by yourself.
For others with half a brain reading:
The offer list is an immediate reflection of the Scouting abilities of a University and many trips and relationships built with HS coaches across the country. Orgeron has outworked Saban these past few years and is a shoe-in every year for a Top 5 300+ Point Class

Can you read? I said LSU sits in the most fertile recruiting region in the country.
Jesus Christ.
