DT is probably the greatest college linebacker of all time so if anything ends a thread it's that. It's a crime his sack totals for the season and career are not counted because they would never come close to being passed.

There is a chance that Roquan measures up just behind Foster.

That has been the comparison for much of this season (I know that media mentions do not make it so, but he has the potential to get there)

Derrick Thomas may be the best pro LB of all time not just college.

This coming from an LSU fan

Alabama has had better linebackers the last ten years. It's not even a contest. We have had a few good ones but some of those guys you put on the list for Georgia didn't play linebacker at Georgia or were terribly average like Justin Houston.

The only backers we had worth a damn lately were Ogletree, Jones, Floyd and Smith. Carter and Bellamy are decent but again not exceptional.

Don't make dumb threads. I would say several SEC teams have had better backers than us the last decade. That being said, Smith may go down as the best of the bunch.

Agree with pretty much everything other than calling Justin Houston terribly average. He had 10 sacks in his last season in Athens and was 1st team All-SEC. That's not average.

There’s no argument who the top 3 are. Bobby Wagner is hands down the best ILB this year (probably will be DPOY). Followed by Luke Kuechly and Lavonte David.

Best pro LB from the SEC no doubt

But LT is the GOAT defensive player. The man scared the shite out of his opponents.

I haven't seen uga fans so talkative in any environment, for like, 20 years or more.

I hope for their sake they beat OU. If not, it might be a long off season for them.

Only on this board can people turn an argument between Bama and UGA, into a thread about LSU

Well people were mentioning the NFL a lot in this thread and it's hard not to mention LSU in the same breath since we have the most players in the league out of any school in the SEC and the nation. We are DBU and NFLU.

Haven't won a Thorpe award since 2011. When us the last time LSU even had a finalist? LSU being DBU is a joke to anybody outside of BR
