Is that why Cam is running away with the NFL Man of the Year Award voting?

Well if you have common sense, yes.

As a pro, good passers stand the test of time. Newton was a rare athletic running QB talent but his passing prowess & mental prep were suspect.

Joe will be a franchise QB for a long while. He’s a winner with a winner’s mentality. His own Defensive teammates are in awe & call him a defense killer.

I go get him #1 if I’m an NFL GM. Joe is mature & just wired different.

Not to Allbarners. Does it make sense to roll your own trees? Tards.

At least we clean up when we're done and don't leave our campus trashed like some schools

So completely different a QBs it’s almost a different position.

Burrow has the chance to have a longer career as accuracy/decision making will last longer than speed/size in the NFL.

ITT haterz still mad about Cam.

Cam: undefeated as a starter with a worse supporting cast

Burrow: lost to Jimbo

frick me, that play was embarrassing for Newton. shite I would've run and kicked the ball as hard as I could out of bounds.

Because of defense, or lack thereof, not for lack of skill on his part. Burrow in the right offense would outscore Newton in any offense. His ability to read and react on the field is pretty much unequaled in college football. Last year he played in a offense with no spring practice, started the season without even knowing the names of many of his teammates, played under center, which was not his background, and still made major progress as the season developed. Yes, Burrow has a strong supporting cast, but his intelligence and accuracy make it all work. Cam was probably the best college qb I have seen until Burrow this year.

If I have third and 1, I’d take (healthy) Cam all day. Otherwise, Burrow all day.

Burrow is the best player I can remember.

Other than Wade Christopher who would have played both ways in the NFL and won multiple Super Bowls, but he went to medical school instead.

Pretty hard to compare but I think Cam has the greatest season for any QB ever. If Joe wins the national championship I think you say that this season surpasses Cam's 2010 season. I do think Burrow will be a good NFL QB although a lot of luck is involved with who drafts you. Same in college as Burrow looked more like Bo Nix last year with a different offense and now looks like the greatest QB ever. The problem with the comparison is that 2010 Cam was going to be the best player and his team was gonna win the national championship no matter what offense was being run.

Do you see the dinosaur shite in that photo? It was probably shot with film. So you’re telling me that Allbarners roll their own trees then immediately clean it up themselves. They’re more stupid than I thought, if that’s possible.

I'd take him over Newton. I bet Burrow would fall on a fumble.

He's gonna have to take a Team to a Super Bowl during an MVP season for it to be an equivalent scenario

I'm not a $Cam fan and I think it was cowardly as hell to wait for the SB to make a "business decision" with the game on the line, but at the same time , stop comparing a College QB that hasn't won shyt on the NFL level to QBs that have actually won games in the NFL

No, but neither could Cam without that Auburn defense that year.

Cam was Auburn’s offense, but it wasn’t like Auburn was putting up a shite ton of points that year. That defense was stout as frick though.

That defense was hardly stout. Basically had one big time playmaker in Fairley and a few solid contributors like Bynes.

At the time, they were one of the worst defenses (on paper) to play for a national championship.

His season blows Cam’s out of the water. He will finish with almost double the amount of passing yards. Cam’s rushing passing combo was amazing, but his passing stats are almost identical to Burrow’s junior season, which was middle of the road in the SEC.

Cam had 4,400 total yards and Joe has 5,500 total yards and has accounted for more tds. I don’t get how this is up for debate?

Because stats aren’t everything and Burrow has a much better supporting cast? I get that LSU fans are going to go with their guy, and Auburn the same, but it’s silly to act like Burrow is head and shoulders above Cam.

Could Burrow take 2010 Auburn to an undefeated title? Not sure. Would Cam take 2019 LSU to a NC appearance undefeated- yeah, he absolutely would.
