Is Alabama really excited about winning a title without playing OSU?

Yay we won a title even though the second best team wasn’t allowed to play enough games to qualify!!

This is the most irrelevant season in the history of CFB

It's a hell of a lot better than not winning a title, tOSU or no tOSU.

Can't blame Bama for the problems of other teams.

LSUs semifinal opponent last year would have been the 5th best team in the SEC West

If Bama beats Florida, Georgia, Auburn, Clemson, A&M, and Notre Dame/Cincy then it is a legitimate title season. No matter how many coonasses cry "it doesnt count"

I would certainly be disappointed if Ohio State wasn't in and they won all their games, 5 or 7. They pretty clearly look like a Top 4 team, regardless of who they've played or how many games.

This is bad. And you should feel bad. If we were on our way to a repeat national championship, no LSU fan would say this season deserves and asterisk. Just stop with the throw away season. We fricking sicked this year. Accept it and hope changes are made and we don't go into a dark age.

Oh I agree 100% but it's not Bama's problem if there is a problem for someone else.

I mean if OSU and Bama were scheduled to play for the title and Bama got Covid and couldn't play, OSU would take the title and move on right? It isn't OSU's fault if that happened but it certainly isn't the way you want it to happen

I'm just letting this play out to see how it ends.

I have no idea whether or not OSU will make the playoff or not.

But I can tell you this... LSU is not going to be there.

Agreed - it is what it is. But I hope they figure out a way to get OSU enough games to play to compete to get there.

Do they clearly? The schedule they did play is garbage, and let's be honest about Indiana. That isn't a top 10 team. Yes they are solid and a good story, but I'm reasonably certain Auburn would beat them.

I agree with this, and let's face it, the committee is going to put them in regardless so the OP is moot.
