That is because Pistol was 75% of the offense LSU had back in those days.

He turned LSU from an also ran into an SEC contender. Lead the league in points and assists.

Pistol Pete was so good that every team they faced knew he was LSU’s only threat, and he still dragged his nuts across people’s faces, Krystal style.

Would love to see video of the wild game at Bama in which LSU lost by two despite 47 points from Pete in the second half. There was a fracas which included Bama football players coming out of the stands, lol.

I’m all for this chick to have her moment but it’s dumb it’s such a big deal crossing a woman’s accomplishment to an overall accomplishment.

And for those who love her I hope you follow her to the nba and help grow the sport you’re so passionate about.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe this gif is Pistol saying goodnight to Coleman Coliseum...

Did Pete play in a time there were only white dudes on the teams? Who were other NBA talent guys he played against? All the pics I’ve seen of him, it’s just a bunch of white guys and I don’t know if the SEC was integrated back then. I also don’t know who he smoked (NBA guys) on the court.

If you have a son when he is young make sure he watches the movie Pistol. Love that movie. Great for a little guy to see.

You are correct, the majority of the SEC was not integrated during his time in college. His NBA career was ok, but nothing like his college days

Define ok. He’s commonly on the top 100 nba players of all time lists.

Pistol Pete also played at a time where dunking wasn't allowed. So he has the same amount of college dunks as Clark.
