Army/Navy is the biggest and most prestigious rivalry in all of college football, and nothing else comes close.

Lolno

It's the one everyone pretends they care the most about... But we all know it isn't true.

Dude... as a veteran and an Alabama alumnus, I can assure you - you have no clue what you’re talking about.

It’s ok, perhaps you need to have served to understand.

It's a reason they moved this game toward this time of the year.

This game used to be on conference championship Saturday. Moving the game could also have something to do with Navy moving to the AAC and not being able to schedule this game on the same day as the AAC championship game, but tell yourself whatever you want to believe.

Lmao maybe to veterans like yourself but most people dont care. I can guarantee most people wouldn't even watch, if this game was during rivalry weekend.

Never met a single normal joe who ever gave two shits about this game. Most of us had no idea when this game was even played.

Don't let them BS you, major conference football is far more important to everyone than the scrub academy games.

Maybe ring knockers and Seaman academy dudes care about it tho

Watch grasshopper and maybe you will learn something. I doubt it though. This is how you are supposed to play footballl and this is how students should root for their teams. They are all very intense but they are also respectful of their rival, as it should be.

was at the Army-Navy Game last year and to me it was the best atmosphere I've been to in college football. It's not the nasty rivalry that you see at the Egg Bowl.

My point proven

Maybe the half illiterate players of the egg bowl can learn some sportsmanship from watching our nation's finest play this football game. You can bet your pansy no desire to serve arse their will to win is every bit as strong and then some. Thuging it up after the whistle blows and clock strikes zero is not what makes an intense rivalry.

These are future leaders willing to sacrifice everything so those prima donna athletes can continue to chase the NFL dream of riches and fame. They deserve your respect!

I have been to all three Service Academies and there are not any campuses in College Football that can compare to the beauty and tradition. West Point is like walking back into the 30s. Only a fool could not see what this game means to college football and this country.

Sportsmanship rivalries are awesome. Used to play on a flag football 7v7 league like that.

Also, Mattis is a cuck.

My job caused me to have a lot of inter service interaction. That could be a factor, but even when I was attached to the 11th ACR in Fulda, with little inter service activity, this game was a big deal.

I can see if you’re a wheeled vehicle mechanic assigned to Ft Lewis on a two year enlistment, you may not have been influenced by the rivalry.

ETA: that’s not a shot, just an observation how the rivalry may have missed you.

No politics, it's fairly important to service members.

Agreed. I’ve only been to Annapolis and it is amazing. A very professional environment and a classic feel to it.
