It makes for an unfair competitive balance. And I'm not just bitching about LSU and Florida having to play each other. I like that game.

How about we make Ole Miss play somebody other than Vandy every year?

How about we put the titillating State-Kentucky rivalry on ice for a while?

How about we give every student athlete the opportunity to play in every SEC stadium during a 4 year career?

How about address the root cause of this mess and dump these supposed "traditional rivalries" that nobody gives two shits about? God forbid we deprive Alabama of its annual layup against Tennessee in the name of tradition. frick that stupid worthless game.

let's just not play cross division at all? why not just schedule some other P5 team in those slots on the schedule?

You willing to give up night games?

The only game that matters is the DSOR. It still has an impact on who plays in the SECC.

The bammer vs ut game should be an OOC game. Keep playing it but no one cares except the two schools.

You could still have 3 permanent opponents for every school (Bama could have Auburn, TN, and LSU) and rotate everyone else. Take the top 2 teams for the championship game.

The NCAA would have to waive the division requirement though.

Alabama vs. Tennessee
Auburn vs. Georgia
Florida vs. LSU
Ole Miss vs. Vanderbilt
Arkansas vs. Missouri
Kentucky vs. Mississippi State
South Carolina vs. Texas A&M

If they all played on the same weekend, would it even be a good slate of games? What would the point spreads be if this were the lineup on Saturday?

Tennessee actually scores against Alabama.

Do like the Big Ten does with Indiana vs. Purdue.

Keep UGA v. Auburn and Bama v. Tennessee while all other teams carry no permanent opponent. That way we can still hold onto history and the other teams get to play new teams more often

What was the score of the LSU Bama game last year?

29-0?

Dont act like UT is the only team that hasn't had success against Bama lately. LSU is at 8 losses in a row now and hasnt finished higher than 3rd in the west since 2012. Bama beats everyone.

Frankly I think the best system is to eliminate the divisions and fixing 2-3 opponents a year (rivalries) and rotating the rest. Hopefully in a way that gives everyone a relatively equal SOS. Have some system of scoring out the 2 best teams at the end of the year and have them play in ATL.

Maybe move to 9 conference games at same time.

Leaving out a lot of the required machinations. Maybe others have ideas.

better than anything we have seen to date

AU vs UGA - premium game / marquee matchup
UF vs LSU - premium game / marquee matchup

KY vs MSU - compelling game - great matchup
Ole Miss vs Vandy - compelling game - great matchup

USCe vs aTm - decent game - good matchup

Bama vs Tenn -
Ark vs Miz -

Sorry man, but it’s what makes the big6 the big 6. It has literally broken Tennessee but I don’t think it’s going to break aub-uga or uf -LSU. Big 6 is about money.

The sec goes from having 6 guaranteed big games to having 9 big (broadly watched) games if they keep
Ut-ala. folks will still watch
Aub-uga
Uf-LSU.

Therefore, that keeps (LSU) on cbs or espn prime times.

Ole miss vs vandy(guaranteed) is a way to keep them down as well. Recruits don’t respect that game and won’t watch it.

Why would those teams agree to switch up their permanent opponents and make on things tougher?
