Also, will you people please quit assuming Bama is automatically winning the Iron Bowl. That usually spells doom.

Why does it seem like the term "quality loss" is only used to sneak teams in? I think the country is tired of the Bama mulligans. This would be the 3rd one in 8 years.
Sit at home an extra week, no risk of injuries or an additional loss vs a top team... And frankly, without Tua your team isn't really all that compelling.

247 Roster Talent

1. Alabama
47. Utah

Does anyone here honestly believe Utah would beat LSU, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, or Auburn on a neutral field?

Its not about the four best teams, because it were, the rankings wouldn't change after conference championships.

If its just about roster talent then why even play any games? That's retarded.

what Bama needs to get in
1. win out
2. Oregon to beat Utah in pac 10 champ game
3.LSU to beat Georgia in SEC champ game
4. will most likely get in over Big 12 champ

The results on the field prove that roster talent is the biggest portion of it, plus they have arguably the greatest coach ever. They would slaughter Utah on a neutral field if the game mattered.

I'm not going to argue either way but acting like USC and LSU are equal losses is a bit silly. And Utah's best win will be 10-3 Oregon while Alabama's will be 8-4 Auburn (who beat Oregon). So.....I dunno.

I think most think that a 1-loss P12 winner goes over us. Last night just created a chance that a 2-loss team wins that league. Before it was guaranteed the P12 Title Winner had 1 loss and was in, now it isn't

Oklahoma should go in over Bama.

How many ranked teams has the mighty Bama played? One. What happened? They lost.

Bama has not beaten a ranked team in over a year.

To be fair to Bama, the LSU loss would be light years ahead of the USC loss but if the committee wants to pretend the conference championships mean anything, there’s no way they could leave Utah out for bama.

Everyone said the same exact thing before Utah stomped the shite out of Bama in the Sugar Bowl.

They have since been exposed as a non-ranked team.

Your days of domination are over. Deal with it.

Everyone pat OU on the back for their ranked win! A 1 point victory at home over 7-4 Iowa State!

You realize the same logic could be applied for them to be ranked ahead of georgia right now?
