Until I listened to Finebaum yesterday. Wow. A couple of those callers needed a welfare check from the police.

Using the rant and Finebaum as my sample size they're not handling two losses well... perhaps they should thank their lucky stars they do not play Georgia, Clemson or Ohio State this season. Geaux Tigers.

We had one call in sick the following Monday. Then he hung up on everyone Wednesday during a conference call when joked about the game.

To their credit, the Rant posters have been pretty tame, but I did not know adults could take CFP so seriously until Finebaum last night

They are and are very surprisingly accepting that things happen. Since they have been there before. Using Finebaum as a gauge means you are kinda naive and dumb. Typical of his listeners or watchers. Finebaum finds and cultivates his callers and they are part of the show. And takes care of them (pay and fame in a small way). They made that side of him and his show. The other professional side is he has connections but his fame came from running a sports version of "He Haw". Brilliant.
