No, it just contradicts what posted in your previous message.

After Mullen sticks those sneakers up Moo State's arse then we may have these idiots shut the hell up.

But go ahead on social media blasting Mullen and you may find out how LSU felt at home in red stick in 2016 after endless name calling and how we were pussies. That didn't turn out well for them. I still see a 99 yd bomb to # 89 Tryie Cleveland to stun the home crowd. Most of them felt a hand tightening around their throat after that play and it was still early. Cleveland also got a 63 or 67 yd TD against UT as time expired
He will be on your cow pasture this year and your secondary better be in the weight room to keep him from breaking tackles. 6'2 205 or more and speed to go with it.

Not so fast! If Moorhead can become a good head coach and is able to get a feel of the SEC right away. I would say yes.

heard Mullen also was responsible for the outbreak of the dreaded plague in Europe in the 1400s....

Can you get that from fricking sharks? Asking for a friend.

Wouldn't call McElwain a friend after he took Pussy field by storm after LSU whined and got their way.

How does a player that small end up on an SEC team to begin with? Kid was literally 5-7 165.

Dexter McCluster wasn't much larger than that. He averaged 6.4 ypc his senior season and ended up with 1,169 rushing yards (as well as 520 yards receiving).

Let it be known that Mullen couldn’t take us where two other Miss State coaches did. Sherrill to winning the SEC West and allyn McKeen winning the entire SEC.

You do realize the west didn't have Saban at Bama and the West as strong as it is when Mullen was there. Right dipshite?

Folks griping about Brandon Holloway are the kind who can't wait to prove how ignorant they are

Force fed? His career high in carries was 14 against Arkansas. Less thsn 200 attempts in four years is being force fed?

Holloway was involved a LOT because he was one of the top all purpose yardage guys in the country. He was MSU's best threat at receiver and kick returner, and he ran the ball a few times.

This thread sounds like the women who sit around us and wonder out loud why Dan didn't run those screen plays all the time. They always seem to work!!!

And Ole Miss fans screamed (rightfully so) that he should have carried the ball more.
170 rbs can be very successful. Not every offense is set up to pound straight ahead with 220 lb backs

Did you not watch the games? Guarantee 80% of those carries were up the A-gaps.

Do you think those are designated rushes for Holloway. It's a read.

Even if I were to concede to your 80% guarantee, that's 11 whole rushes in the a-gap as a CAREER HIGH. How is that being force fed?

Confirmation bias is natural and I too hated seeing Holloway run between the tackles, but the numbers don't prove that Mullen overused Brandon Holloway. Those plays just stuck with us and made us shake our heads

Mullen finished 2nd once in 9 years, no one expected him to win it with Bama. Also to note, Allen McKeen’s 1941 SEC championship team that finished 8-1, competed against 5 other ranked SEC teams, 4 of which finished 8-2 or better.

Nobody said he was overused. He was misused. Thats the whole point of this. "Force feeding" can also mean quality over quantity. It was low value use of an undersized SEC RB.

agreed , sir.

The large problem was that Mullen did not have a single WR who could outrun anybody. Holloway was the only legit speed threat so he had to play a lot. Not between the tackles, though

some strange offensive addictions, like 3rd and long QB draws or Holloway up the middle

Or the 2014 Egg Bowl. 24 designed QB runs averaging 2 ypc. Everyone could see the safeties cheating up. Mullen called one deep post, then went back to using Dak's legs instead of his arm. Gator fans are in for a real treat.
