Seriously, who thinks a 160lb RB can carry the load in the SEC?

This is the shite UF gets to look forward to. Good luck.

Or maybe he knew the passing game wouldn't have worked or resulted in interceptions and that was his best running back. Mullen is not a dumbass. I don't think any of us really know how good he is but we are about to find out. I know he is accustomed to playing in the SEC and in the west no less but Florida is still a much different beast. 8-4 seasons and mediocre bowls for four straight years will get you fired. He took the job so he obviously thinks he can and will do it. Maybe he really is this masterminded, football savant that will win championships with a team full of 3 stars. He may like handicapping himself for the challenge so he doesn't recruit as many 5 star guys. About to find out.

Absolutely not. We NEVER praised Holloway up the middle. The team got booed every single time he called that stupid arse play.

Holloway up the middle and him playing seniors instead of the best players were two of his big weaknesses

He had a more than capable running back in Aeris Williams that was sitting on the bench watching Holloway get murdered. We’re not talking sweeps to the outside, we’re talking Holloway straight up the center’s arse.

How does a player that small end up on an SEC team to begin with? Kid was literally 5-7 165.

He was just as stubborn with Dak in his senior year, 3rd and long-Qb draw. I remember a shite ton of boo birds in the Bama game that year because of that.

Mullen has his legit strengths, and then he has critical weaknesses. Hes one of the best developers of players ive seen. Hes taken sub par recruits and turned them into solid Competitive players. But he is just a terrible "Head" coach. He loses track of the game and play clock just as Les Miles tended to do. His personality is not great either. Comes off almost like a blonde sometimes, drifty and scrambled.

I heard Mullen also was responsible for the outbreak of the dreaded plague in Europe in the 1400s....or least that's what some Moo State fan told me.

Mullen developed a program into legitimacy in the middle of nowhere Mississippi. I believe the program will suffer again in his absence after this upcoming year.

He will do fine in Gainesville. Pretty sure he knows what he’s doing.

It’s true. He also is responsible for starting the crack epidemic in the 80s.

Only the because of Croom. Let it be known that Mullen couldn’t take us where two other Miss State coaches did. Sherrill to winning the SEC West and allyn McKeen winning the entire SEC. Dan built what we are today, no doubt. But the blueprint for doing so is not as hard as it seemed. His biggest win in 9 years, was beating an 8-4 Auburn team in 2014. It always amazes me how people think Dan Mullen was the only person in the history of humanity who could turn us around and then in turn keep our success. I can’t count how many times dumbasses praise this man like some demi god and then in the same sentence tell you how shitty of a recruiter and relationship builder that he really is.

Used properly Holloway would have been very valuable, he was fast, sub 4.4. He should have been used on the perimeter like at slot and in motion. He was fast enough to out run DL and LB's on the periphery which he proved multiple times.
Running the dive or straight up the middle negated his speed advantage.
