6-6 if we stay healthy which is damn near impossible with our brutal schedule.

We are trending in the right direction.

I think they beat LSU and Ole miss. I see a 10 win season.

LOL Aggie getting nervous! The Hogs worst decade of football in its history and one of the Aggies best, the ags still had to squeak the game out in the end most of the last 9 years. After nine pathetic years the all time record is finally getting respectable for A$M 41-33. History has shown the hogs will find a way to start beating the ags most years, hopefully it starts this year.

Mond is no longer here, so don't count on it. Don't even count on a close game

i think 6-6 is doable, and, to me, that will be a HUGE step in the right direction; of course, some of those wins could be worth more than the record will show; cough, cough, texas;

I’m a big fan of Sam Pittman. You guys are definitely headed in the right direction and it seems like the guys are buying in. I hope to see Arkansas get back to the McFadden days in terms of success. Beautiful campus and city as well. Can’t wait to see OU play in Fayetteville.

Will Illinois and Bert have a better record than Arkansas and Pittman this year?

Even with all the hate Mond has gotten over the years he was the key piece to your team last year. New guy will have big shoes to fill and if Morris can keep it close Pittman sure as hell can. This is why we needed Texas to come in. You aggies are out of your depth after having one good season. May not be our doing but you guys are going to come back down to earth this year.

Tamu QB and oline is interesting story line this year. Mond looks good in Minnesota. I think he was pretty good for the ags. New starter with rebuilding oline is a potential negative surprise for tamu

Pig should have a great year compared to recent history. I’m thinking even bowl game.
We were in a Bowl in 2020, Bruh. TCU bitched out and refused to play.

8-4 Probably win their bowl game and finish in the Top 25

This should be completely acceptable on any given season for every program in the SEC not named Bama, Georgia, LSU, Florida and maybe A&M. 8-4/9-4 with a bowl win is a good season for the have nots.

10-2 is the ceiling because the only absolute losses are Bama and Georgia. Everyone else is beatable. That doesn't mean I think we will do that, but we could. I think 8-4. And I do think we beat A&M. With a normal schedule last year we go 3-1 NC, and we won 4(F U auburn) conference games last year. So a normal year would have been 7 wins. I think it will be a fun year. WPS!

We have a top 10 or better coaching staff. Arkansas just does offer the recruiting base necessary to be a top 10 team.

Arkansas isn't a name brand like the typical national power and so the recruiting is regulated to regional areas. It is all a bout prestige and Arkansas has been seen for the past 30 years as a bottom feeder. Until that changes then Arkansas will always struggle.

That’s was kinda Florida’s thinking too. Not only did Southern beat UF on their own field they did it without 19 players they left home in Statesboro for rules violations. It’s a day Florida tries to forget. Anyone who looks past the former perennial National Champs of the then lower football division does so at their own risk. Before they moved up to our level of play they have had Miami, FSU and AU among others on the ropes. They are players who were passed over by bigger programs and they have always played with a huge chip on their shoulder. I would not take them lightly. Florida fans still turn pale and try to change the subject anytime Ga Southern is mentioned.

1. 9 years. Please tell us how we’re in the deep end expecting a tenth. I’ve got to hear this.

2. While you are at it please let us know how awesome Texas has been since we’ve been in the SEC. Be sure to compare records of the past decade as that is the time period in question since “we’ve been out of our depth”. And if you do bring up historical records from more than a decade ago, be sure to list recruits that are thirty years old that would care.

Hogs aren’t where they want to be or where they will be yet, but nobody will be excited about playing them this year.

Pittboss has the team mentality in great shape. Hogs will be rough physically and mentally and will play every down. Talent is trickling back in with good recruiting and some transfer success, especially on DLine.

Wins and losses are hard to call with this schedule, but this will be a team hog fans are proud of again. It’ll hurt when you play the hogs.

we should be better tgan6-6. We were a 6-6 team last year if it wasn’t for covid, so this should be the year where expectations are at 7-8 wins. Idc that the schedule is tough, the schedule is always tough in the sec.
