Alabama is incredibly good, but the committee would never leave out a fellow 1 loss team who won their conference and beat Alabama.

Your melt over Jim Acosta was strange. I am simply posting about the playoffs which you and your program know nothing about and never will with that retard you have for a head coach.

Doesn’t change my point at all, but nice deflection.

It just so happens a lot of Georgia fans post dumb shite on here. They still don’t know how the playoffs work. There is plenty of stupidity to go around as you have demonstrated

^This clown and that pow_hound dude and a couple others spend 100% of their time on this board trolling UGA as.... Alabama fans.

It makes no sense at all. UGA is not a rival. We have no major history with them.

They hide behind that Alabama logo because they know it is impossible to talk shite about what that team has accomplished.

They're complete fricking losers.

Nope, not with only 1 loss on the season and beating the wire-to-wire #1 champ.

Although if it did, I'm embarrassed to say that would be the most Georgia thing ever.

Nowhere does it say they have to pick conference champions. Hell, Notre Dame isn’t even in a conference. They pick the four best teams. A 12-1 Alabama would be one of those four. Last year Alabama who was so awful we couldn’t even win our own division beat 2 of your precious conference champions in the playoffs. You think the committee has forgotten that?

Some teams are the best team until they arent.

I suggest Bama wins the SECCG if they want to be in the playoff.
Miami was unbeatable until they werent.
USC was unbeatable until they werent.

There is a reason why we play the games.

This is not a UGA will beat Bama thread...that's a huge uphill battle. But for the sake of argument if UGA won and (ND, Clemson, Mich) win out and the committee's goal is to include the best 4 teams I just don't see how they can leave out Alabama, which may be the greatest and certainly is one of the greatest teams in history.

Thoughts?

There is ZERO chance of UGA not making the CFP if they beat Bama - unless they stub their toe against UMass or Ga Tech. I will say the Tech game is slightly scary because of their junk offense...but I digress.

Agree w/ another poster earlier, in your scenario, Ga and Bama are both in and either Michigan or Notre Dame get left out. Probably Michigan.

Big 10 will raise holy hell if Bama grabs that 4th spot again over Big 10 champ.

Exactly. And if UGA wins, they will get into the playoffs.

UGA with a conference Championship and a direct win over Bama would never be left out this season. Unless somehow UGA drops their game vs Ga Tech.

only way i see this happening is if tua gets hurt in the iron bowl and jalen cant play, so that other backup qb has to play the seccg in its entirety and uga just barely eeks out a win and tua would be 100% for the playoffs.

I wonder what Finebaum’s thoughts would be on this matter. You’d think he’d call bullshite and argue in UGA’s favor.

So you’re implying that Bama losing a game with a 3rd string QB = doesn’t count, give ‘em another shot? This is some Aubie level logic.

If Bama were to get left out, and become matched with UCF in the bowl game...would the winner claim they were national champions?

A 1 loss Michigan (to an undefeated Notre Dame) is not getting left out of the playoff.

It’s just not realistic.

Alabama will be left out of the playoff if they lose to Georgia.

I'm not saying I agree with it. I'm saying that'd be the only way I see it happening.

The committee will need an excuse and that will give them an excuse.

Not everyone is out to get you, but victimhood is some UGA logic.

I'd be willing to wager a Franklin that LaMotta is either the infamous Phan, a GT fan, or a guy who takes his UGA neighbor's ribbing just a little too far.

Seriously wondering about his psyche.

I'll be praying for you dude.

Why would Bama get in for losing? No way in hell assuming Michigan wins the big 10

Bad opinions are just that.
