re: The Americas, is amazing

There was a docuserires on many years ago about the Americas. They had Tom Selleck narrating. It was done by a group from a anither country. Can’t remember which one. At the end of the last episode they said they couldn’t understand why Americans travelled abroad so much because America has so many diverse beautiful regions. America is a very beautiful country. Just gotta get out there and see it all. Been wanting to watch the new series.

Is this just about David & Goliath or does it include his years as the king?
Did you chill it first? What brand did you drink?
Never tried the pills.
Very good movie. The book is completely different.
This will sound odd but a spoon full of sugar will get rid of it.

This has nothing to do with politics. The fact that he hadn’t seen his daughter in years at his age and her knowing his situation really ticks me off. I lost my father recently and i was with him when he died. I would’ve been ashamed not seeing my father during his last years no matter what the family situation was.

From most recent headline from Fox

quote:

Hackmans Daughter she hadn't seen her father in a "few years," only because he no longer traveled much, and she lives in California, but she said they were close and had "been in touch over the last couple of months."

WTF? what daughter doesn’t see her dad in a few years? Even if there was animosity I would still check in with my 95 yo dad often. SMH.

The show was somewhat based on a true story. Loved the first season. Hated the second

RIP Mr Hackman.

He was one of the GOATS. So many roles in so many great movies.
Great actor on all levels.

I remember after watching Unforgiven, I thought "was Clint the lead actor or Gene?"

Completely understandable

Mad Men Rewatch

Loved the show when it aired so decided to do a rewatch.
I didn’t really get the very last scene of the shows finale with the “I’d like too buy the world a coke. “ commercial.
Anyone else get that very last scene? I didn’t get it back then. But have thoughts on what is about. I think I may know the significance of it but thought I’d ask the board
Any ideas?

Thanks Rig. You were an a-hole at first but you came around. The loss of a father is a tough road to travel especially for daughters.
