People are talking about how no one will be at the game Monday night, and I concur.
So, I wonder if the opposite were to occur, say 2 non SEC schools meet for the CFP championship in New Orleans.
How much would the casual SEC football fan living near New Orleans pay to go?
$100? $200? Face value? more?

I think $50 tops. Maybe that’s just me?

If I lived in the area I’d go to tailgate and troll the Notre Dame fans

There’s nothing wrong with this matchup. This isn’t even Bama fatigue. This game is akin to the USC Texas game of 2005. This is about location and the fact that average people can’t spend money going to sec cg a playoff and NT game plus the location is crap for two teams not in that area.

Talk about fatigue. Ohio State has murdered Notre Dame how many times across the BCS and playoff era now?

My joy at seeing one of them lose, thereby proving there's still decency and justice in this universe, will not suffice to compensate for my displeasure at watching one of them winning and thereby proving that the universe is a place barren of decency and justice. So I wouldn't pay to see it.

$20 if the drinks are reasonably priced. Otherwise, 10.
