You'd be paying more than face value, for sure.
Both of those teams travel better than any 2 SEC schools combined.

I'd rather watch curling.

Notre Dame hasn’t beaten Ohio State since 1936 or some shite like that.

So, other than some Buckeye trolling here, it appears that the big time college football fan round these parts wouldn't even go to a nearby championship game, yet people are snickering at Bay Area residents for not wanting to go to the game Monday night.

I'd go so I could give both fan bases hell.

Don’t kid yourself. Notre Dame and Ohio State fans would pack that stadium.

If I was nearby (family in Covington, around the lake) and the tickets were $3.00 and I got a $5.00 coupon for beer, I would pay the $3.00

I'm sure they would, since it has been quite some time since either has been here. I'm just curious about the average fan and what interest they'd have.

It’s more like USC vs UNLV in Tampa

Ohio State was there four years ago but maybe you wiped that one from memory?

I would pay a lot ($500+) and that game would be sold out because tOSU and ND are national programs, not regional ones like Alabama and Clemson. tOSU games are always the highest rated on tv. Fact.

If tOSU played in the bay area against anyone for the national title, it would be sold out. tOSU moves the meter like no other program in the public's eye; no one cares about Alabama and Clemson outside the South.

If I'd never seen a national championship game ever before I'd be willing to pay like $100 to go if it we're local and I didn't care about the teams.

Since I've now been to many, I wouldn't be interested.
