NOt even one of those self-aware sociopaths that can easily blend in with mentally healthy adults. Completely tone deaf

Didn’t he also tweet prior to thanksgiving that he was taking a long twitter break, only to be tweeting again in like 2-3 days?

Maybe for him, that is a long break.

Did his wife stay with him? I think he just uses God as some sort of get out of jail free thing.

From what I've read, he's not being paid at all.

He was winning, team was fun to watch, I don't blame you for overlooking this douche.

That said, he is the worst kind of a-hole. I don't mind assholes that are up front about it. But Hugh Freeze is dam near sociopathic in his drive to make himself look good. Worst part is he'd probably be just as good a coach admitting he likes to bang chicks instead of preaching and banging on the side.

If Canada leaves, one has to think Ed O would have dibs considering he gave Hugh his start in coaching.

He is only restricted from being a HC. First time I’ve seen that in a show cause.

Probably has to do with the charge against him specifically being the failure to monitor or "head coach responsibility". Honestly, pretty surprised he didn't get hit with a multi-year show cause

Dude is trash. The real question is — is he less slimy or more slimy than Houston Nutt?

Both seem like compulsive liars.

It's always everyone else's fault but him. He has God on his side and is thus always right, even when he cheats on his wife above fricking Funky's with multiple prostitutes. Pious Little shite. Reminds me of this guy:

Meh... I don't get the outrage at the statement here in particular. Ole Miss sanctions come out, very little of it impacts him in any way, but he is tied to the scandal... releasing this statement is self serving, but if he's not acting in his own self interest, who is? I don't like the Christian "armor" that he tries to wear to seem like a great guy, but nothing in this statement is terribly offensive either. Seems overblown here... downvote and pile on as you wish.

I would be surprised if anyone hires him in the college level again. I know Freeze is a very heavy drinker and there is one story I know that I probably shouldn't tell. Hugh Freeze and his wife are weird people.

Hey now, there's nothing wrong with the kinky stuff. And if the wife is good with him paying to roll in the sack with others, then why not?

My only issue is the moral superiority and holy roller persona he projects. He felt the need to witness, speak, and preach while living a different lifestyle. He is disingenuous, selfish, and a hypocrite of the first order.

The entire fiasco is embarrassing for ole miss fans. Freeze basically led the school to be hung out to dry due to things that occurred under his watch, while he gets off with minimal punishment.

Dog Brewer herded ole miss to trouble twice, and ole miss fans continued to worship him. Ole Miss fans have been down this road before.

And let's not forget his "hallelujah, praise the Lord, I'm off of twitter" and then "praise the Lord, I've been vindicated, I'm back to doing the Lord's work. Gimme my job back." Pathetic.

When I saw Hugh Freeze's speech in that auditorium after he got hired at Ole Siss, I began cringing immediately. His whole Joel Osteen televangelist persona is yucky. Jimbo Fisher gives me the same vibe (used car salesman).

That said, BOTH of them can coach, I am not taking that away from them. I just wouldn't want to buy a car from either of them. That's all I'm saying.

Because he has yet to publicly apologize to his family, the fans, and the Oxford community. He treats what has happened to him like a hurricane hit his house instead of this being 100% his fault. He is like Frollo in that no matter what morally agregious action he does, he is justified in it because he stands with God.

What kind of shite is this:

Yeah, what kindness have you received Hugh when you refuse to publicly apologize? No one in Oxford has seen Freeze in months save for his church. I’m willing to bet if he went to the Square, it would not end well and no almost restaurant would serve him. Even the most kind hearted old lady in town would tell Hugh to go frick himself.
