This is the least talented Auburn team since probably Terry Bowden’s last year in 1998. Harsin’s staff didn’t recruit, they didn’t even know how to get to the Atlanta airport and left high school players stranded in a terminal. No serious person expected an easy turnaround.

He had a QB last night run out of bounds 2 yards before he got a first down - when he could have gotten it easily.
It was right in front of him. He just shook his head.

One of my bestfriends and his wife went to the game. (both graduates)They are not saying nice things about the handeling of the QBs.

Fans don't make the decisions but Auburn has always had packed stadiums. May be the most loyal fanbase in the SEC.

Auburn just had a coach that didn't recruit for 2 or 3 years and only got players off Auburn's name and hurt Auburn's depth badly. Freeze still has the team playing with the likes of UGA with no QB or skill position players. Give him the time Freeze has had at OM and he will have a complete team.

No they aren't. Frustrated? Sure, but it really doesn't have much to do with Freeze. The roster is shite but the job he did to even get the roster to how shitty it is was pretty amazing in itself. Recruiting is much better than its been in a long time.

And thank goodness he did overhaul the roster in very, very limited time. I would say we upgraded at key positions, although the talent and alignment on the roster is obviously still not there yet. It will start with the 24 recruiting class; several of those players have built relationships with each other already and it will be up to them to set the standard.

Not hyperbole. Several of the Boise State transplants were set to pick up a recruit from ATL and they got lost looking for the airport. And then there was the time that a high school football game changed times and the Auburn staff showed up 2 hours late when Georgia and Alabama staffers were already there. There was also a story that Harsin would tell someone to take a recruit off the board and then the next day would get mad that the staff wasn’t recruiting him enough. And then coaches would call the beat writers mad that they didn’t get credit for recruiting a player.

Hugh's first season at Ole Miss was garbage too. I wouldn't write him off just yet because he literally had nothing to work with this season.
