As a State alum and fan, I am fine if Michigan wins it. I have been following them since they won a Regional at Oregon State and then beat UCLA on the road in SR. Quite frankly they have been the most impressive team throughout the whole tournament.
Now they may laid an egg tonight and tomorrow and lose it as Vandy is still very good. But at this point, even with Rocker pitching tonight, I think they are going to win it in two games.

They are 50-20 overall so they have been doing something right especially the second half of the season. Forget that they are a Northern team in the Big 10, they are a good club that is playing well.

The question is directed mainly at Arkansas and Miss State fans but everyone is free to chime in. Would feel weird huh?
It would be great for the sport. I’d love for college baseball fever to spread to the Midwest. All the sweeter when the sport gets an even bigger stage and the SEC teams smoke them.

Weird question. I'd be happy for them. The Big 10 (in baseball) is a tough sell for a coach to a recruit. Who the hell wants to plow snow off a baseball field in order to play.

Michigan's post season run just goes to show you how important it is to get hot at the right time. Momentum is a powerful thing.

Of course, they haven't won yet, but they have some major mojo working for them right now.

Man I love the fact that nobody is giving Michigan a chance at this!! Get ready boys to be disappointed!
What idiot isn’t giving them a chance? If you’ve made it to the point where you’re one game from winning the CWS you’re absolutely capable of winning it. They didn’t make it this far by being a bad baseball team.

Just goes to show that money, fan support and facilities don’t mean everything in the grand scheme of things. I doubt many of Michigan’s players would have been recruited by either school out of high school.

Duke had the most talented team in college basketball and a hall of fame coach and didn’t even make the final four. It’s hard to win a national title in a tournament setting.

After hearing Paul Finebaum's comments on his show yesterday, I'm now pulling for Michigan to win. His arrogance was such a put-off...made a bet with Wolverines coach, Harbaugh, over the series...I like the Vandy boys, but wouldn't cry at all if UM wins and Finebaum has to pay up...hope he has to.

Generally good for the sport. Didn't think any in the northlands could put together a decent team.

It would be Vandy's fault for not reeling in the Whistler.

This made me laugh because even the Michigan fans watching have noticed him and are calling him the most obnoxious fan in all of sports.

He's a cancer on the game. He really is and he should be banned and outlawed.

It will further confirm the nicheyness of the sport that I've spoken about for years.

The Big Ten is a horrible baseball conference. Michigan couldn’t manage to win their regular season title or conference tournament.

It’s just miraculous they’ve made it this far. Much less a shot to win it all.

Not even remotely true. Auburn finished 18th in the Director’s Cup for 2017-18 and is currently 40th for 2018-19. With only baseball to tally for the final results.

I would be happy, my dad is from Michigan and graduated from UofM. I won't go out of my way to follow Mich for baseball ( I do follow football and basketball) I would be happy if they won.

It's good for college baseball for a team from a conference that sees to never win anything, wins a NC. SEC is already bigtime in baseball. Maybe Michigan winning a NC will motivate schools outside the Sunbelt to take baseball seriously.
