No need for a long explanation, just rewatch the LSU/Florida games

florida and lsu both shut manziel down after a quarter or so. if you know football you would know that. watch a reply with objectivity, if you can. i'm sure not gonna tell you how they did it but their defense was NOT their standard defense in doing so.

Actually Bama did too 2nd half. A&Ms defense was the difference in that game and perhaps Bama not feeding Lacy more.

This conference will humble A&M fans in due time. Even Bama fans have more temperance because they know that fact.

Archie was a bad arse with the Saints and way way underrated. He had no team around him and was running for his life against the elite of the elite and still pulled off amazing plays.

oh and Manziel is good but never diss Archie Manning ... he took enough abuse with aforementioned sacks.

LSU shut down the little longhorns offense easily. They stopped the run on the outside, made JFF run up the middle, and pass from the pocket. Thus LSU beat down the little longhorns at Kyle field.

Posted by Big Kat Did you just slide Archie into the best college QB ever conversation? Sure as F did. Watch the GD films, newbie.

Beach Reb: Gotta say, as an LSU fan growing up in the shadows of Tiger stadium, who has been to many a college fb game (including McMahon, Young and Detmer at BYU, amongst others) in various stadiums across the country, Archie Manning was as good as any QB I have ever seen at the college level.

This, coming from a diehard Tiger fan. Respect, AM.

JFF is random. He is unorthodox. There has never been a player like him, ever, in the history of college football.

Holy. frick.

Have you started watching football just this past year??

You guys really need to get over this crap. There's a player like Manziel in the SEC every year. He's a great player but not rhe legend you guys make him out to be. I suspect you will find out soon.

A freshman wins the heisman and obliterates conference records every year? Every 10? Oh it's never happened?

Put some money on that 17 number?

Ehhh, maybe after the V-Tech game. But I am willing to bet that we beat A&M by at least 10.

No excuse to be ill-prepared.

Hard to prepare for a guy like Johnny in one week when you're coming off of a game like we played in Death Valley.

And there were reports all week about the team being sluggish in practice, so it's even hard to teach guys what to do when they're not focused.

When Tebow was a Freshman he played, but Leak was the established starter.

When Newton was a Freshman, he was behind Tebow.

Vince Young
Tebow
Cash Cam
Anthony Dixon pre knee shred

All have similar styles and I would take as a college QB over JFF
