Imagine if our offense was average at possessing the ball and getting first downs in the first half. OM would have less drives and points. Not to mention our defense wouldn’t be exhausted.
Defense did about all it could against an elite QB on the road, who needed unbelievable 3rd down plays all game to score points.

Ole Miss was forced to overpay for key players to keep them from going to LSU. Their price was driven up in a bidding war they couldn’t lose. They won’t be able to stay that high is my guess.
I just watched a clip from 3 weeks ago about the 3 NFL guys an ole Miss was going to get back soon. How loaded they will be when they are clears to return to college. Nothing but excited Ole Miss fans commenting!

This ruling makes sense and is only basically applied to this year. They changed the college to 5yr. These guys had already declared for draft and didn’t realize they had a 5th yr. This isn’t something that will go into the future and should be just a one year loophole to be fair to those it applies to this year.

I see areas with good HS soccer teams have plenty baseball kids play as a second sport instead of football for HS.
Our area has no soccer HS team so there’s no point for kids here to get into .
Same for college teams. It would trickle down into HS teams and attract more kids to get into it at a younger age.

I heard they wouldn’t have to stay in college 2-3 yrs anymore. So the higher picks will leave after one or two yrs now.
Lacy has proven himself and got rich. Next season is about staying healthy for him for the NFL. I think it will workout for the best for us. It seems to be best in the portal to catch them on the way up and not overpay for the previous season.
Payton had 3 yrs left and sat out one. (3rd round pk)
Tomlin has 2 yrs left. Steelers only get compensated if he coaches before 2027. If he comes back after one yr I’d guess it’s a (5,6 ? round pk)

Sean Payton had multiple yrs left on contract. He could’ve sat out another yr or two to avoid the compensation.
It’s been obvious Levitt has Oregon as his number 1 since the beginning and is shopping for backup plans until they decide if they need him.
Oregon has always been the favorite to get him. That’s why he’s in no rush to sign anywhere. He’s getting a backup plan and his driving his price up.
I think he’s going to Oregon. Tell them this is what you have to match to get me. He’s prob made it clear to these schools he will decide after his Oregon visit.
If they want chaos and revenge… I’d expect them to go through our players and throw a million extra on one of our guys they need. Maybe they can use the money they claim as damages. Make a big show of it.

They did not! This rumor has been known and covered up for a long time this season. He was fired when this all went public.
LSU had no shortage of running backs to replace him. Get Lacy or Sheppard. Texas will also have a few 5 stars he’s competing with.
