Kneeling quietly during the National Anthem is not disrespectful. Standing and singly loudly, in a semi-drunken state, the wrong lyrics is disrespectful. Carrying on a convo during the Anthem is disrespectful. Walking to your seat in the stadium during the ANTHEM IS DISRESPECTFUL.

I boycotted the NFL the season all of the kneeling started. Super Bowl was in Atlanta so I went out to watch the Thunderbird flyover and then went to the grocery store. I had come back to watching some, but do not plan to again.

Except major games. You play the national anthem at playoff and conference title games and have live performances for it.

So when should these guys protest in your opinion? I feel certain that we all prefer peaceful protest to unrest and rioting. And I don't think there is anyone here against the idea of black athletes peacefully protesting social issues, but so many seem to think kneeling during the anthem is the wrong way to do it. So where, when, and how?
