How much would a championship in baseball redeem the SEC?

Rough year for the SEC after Bama embarrassed all of us by shitting the bed twice on the big stage. We’re already being called the South (L)eastern Conference and, quite frankly, it makes me absolutely sick. To be honest they shouldn’t have even been there in football, so we can’t really blame them, but Mulligan U got one last hurrah, I suppose.
I think we have a long way to go to make up for the utter humiliation this year, but bringing home the hardware in baseball will soothe the shame a little bit.
Who steps up and succeeds where Bama failed (twice)?

Makes absolutely no sense. No one cares if you make the playoffs and don’t bring home the hardware.
Bama humiliated the SEC and brought shame to every SEC fan, even people in Tuscaloosa didn’t leave their trailers for weeks, I’m told.

I'm an LSU fan and I can't even remember what BS bowl game we played in or who we beat and that was only a few months ago. I would have at least remembered being in the CFP.

LSU embarrassed themselves by having a Heisman winning QB and still lost three games. Bama destroyed lsu.

lol no we aren’t. No other conference is close to us in championships the past 20 years in football or baseball.
The B1G has 3 football championships since 2000, and 1 in basketball. Zero in baseball
They are the biggest joke of a super conference even the supposed “lesser” conferences like B12, ACC and now defunct PAC had way more in all sports. The only reason B1G gets hyped is due to viewers and money. Their on the field/court product is the worst of all Power conferences and the lack of hardware shows it.
SEC can’t win all of them every year, but nobody is close to catching us in the modern era.

I predict the 12 team playoff will see even more SEC dominance as the top 3-4 SEC teams will regularly make it.

If Bama had a decent OC last season...they beat Michigan in the Rose Bowl and smoke Washington. Michigan wasn't even that good in that game.
