Georgia fans are the biggest group of sanctimonious assholes I've ever seen. frick you. You cheat like everybody. Especially when you're hauling in top 2 classes the last 3 years. I feel the same way about Calipari. His track record of embracing the one-and-done and sending guys to the NBA speaks for itself.
Hoops are an entirely different animal. Everybody pays up front for top 25 players and the money is crazy at the top.
Buddy is a NBA asst GM, gave me the run down.. AAU/players have been commodities since they were 13 yo, you know who is elite (head to head exp vs elite peers for years) & very few misses that give instant ROI. We hear rumors on a few football 5*'s years later and usually because someone was caught.. but for the most part we have no idea what "bag men" deals really go down.
Buddy knew details on a few of the top kids the year we had the convo, I'm talking down to the dollar and who/why certain teams weren't in a position to pull it off for a certain kid. F'n nuts, apparently they aren't shy about anything in the hoops game.
