The three loss team that she is talking about would likely be the loser of the SEC Championship game in Atlanta.

I kept on saying that the 9 game schedule simply amounted to a circular firing squad, but the moronic chest pumping still continued.

LSU and Bama seasons are still alive even with a loss this weekend. A 3 loss team or 2 is getting in from the SEC.

I am not saying you're wrong, because the brand.

but youve played only a handful of good quarters the whole year.

And are still ranked as high as we are. Glad we’re benefiting from a down year.

Kentucky finishing the season with only 2 conference losses would almost certainly put them in the playoffs. In that scenario, the only way you could keep them out is if they didn’t make the SEC championship game AND lost to Louisville.

Another interesting possibility is UK making the SECCG but then losing to Louisville at the end of the regular season. Would they still make it in if they didn’t win the SEC?

I don't think LSU can lose at home to either Bama or Texas. If we lose a good game on the road to UT, then that is different.

Kentucky isn’t “safe” with a loss lol what are you smoking?

If we finish the season with only one more loss, we’re getting in.

3 losses on the season and it gets dicey depending on what everyone else does.

All would be dealing with a third loss.

This weekend's losers (and thus out of CFP) will be

LSU
Ole Miss
Tennessee
Mizzou

SEC isn’t getting four teams in with a bunch of three loss schools. Is the BIG also getting four because the math doesn’t add up? Notre Dame is a lock at this point, Big 12 is getting at least one, ACC is getting at least one, and the G5 is getting at least one. A one loss school is getting in over a three loss SEC team and right now there are 8 one loss teams or better not currently counted in that scenario outside of Miami.

Anyone with 3 losses is out.

...unless one of those teams are Notre Dame.

LOL

With Notre Dame's schedule they would absolutely be out with 3 losses.

Mizzou wins this weekend, but TU isnt knocked out, if they win out, because of OSU win in non con. Mizzou is going to win their 3 home games(TU, UK, OU), but lose at UGA, to finish 9-3. They will not make CFP. The big brands will get in at 9-3. OSU, Bama, LSU, TU, etc

Re: Georgia and Ole Miss. Actually, Kirby Smart has never won in Oxford (0-2) and neither game was close. He is also 2-3 against Ole Miss, and the only other team with a winning record against him is 'Bama. And, in fact, Ole Miss has won 2 of the last 3.

I don’t think any other team has a chance after a loss this weekend other than LSU.

They have to the toughest schedule remaining which depending on what happens with the teams above them, gives them a chance to climb back in.

That said, Bama could lose and still make it in because of being ranked 5th. LSU could beat them by two TD’s and Bama wouldn’t drop out of the top 10.

I assume you mean LSU. I don’t think we get in with a loss this weekend unless we blow out Ut and Ut.

You would have H2H wins against two of the other teams in that mix, I don’t think you’d need to blow them out at that point.
