Starting TE, Norfleet(hurt), and two starting WRs going into the portal, and our starting QB is going in the portal. The Freshman is struggling.

Hardy and Roberts were just short of 2300 yards combined. Pretty good backfield!

You nailed it with th we advantage they have by going on the missions. Its often men vs boys.

Same for me. I'm amped up to watch Hardy have a huge game tonight and spank a ranked team.

Mizzou will run all over UVA tonight. Hardy will have a huge game, and Roberts will do well too. Same as Arky. Mizzou 34, UVA 14

He is out, due to surgery

No, he was saved by an awesome catch.
re: Any Zou fans a little annoyed with Drinkwitz for flirting with Michigan?

The win over the Buttpies counted! I live in Ohio. They only had Harrison and McCord out for that game. McCord was jettisoned by Day. Mizzou had Rakestraw and Hopper out. Two NFL picks on D.

Now, really upset the apple cart and go buy Underwood.
re: How can CFP commitee defend Tulane and JMU? (And what does this mean for future?)

Winner! I agree. 16 teams with no Auto qualifiers. If a team, P4 or G6, is in top 16, they re in. Simple.
re: Neither of these teams stand a chance vs Ohio State

Hey Barry,
A&M beat Mizzou(8-4), LSU(7-5), Arky(2-10), Miss st(5-7), Auburn(5-7), Fla(4-8), SCar(4-8) in the SEC, and lost at TU.
Comparable to B18 wins for OSU and IU, though since they both pounded bottom of their league too.

Agree, and byes need to go. In 16 team CFP, we will get 8 first round home games. No team should ever advance a round without winning on the field! NO BYES!

Mizzou is in the SEC, and wasn't ranked in the preseason polls! They did beat Iowa in the Music City Bowl in 2024, though!

Um, I think going 12-1 in SEC, winning the SECCG over the one team that beat you , and having wins over #6 Ole Miss, #9 Bama, #13 Yexas, and #22 Ga Tech, seems pretty ELITE, idiot! Georgia should have been the 2 seed over the OSU, and it really shouldn't have been close.
re: 16 teams ... no byes
Posted by Mizzoustance on 12/8/25 at 9:58 am to scrooster
100% agree. 16 teams, ranked 1-16 by CFP COMMITTEE, with no byes! If ND or a G5/6 make it, it's because they were in Top 16! Pay the G5s more cash, or if they want to try to take the antitrust thing to court, B18 and SEC do their own tourney.
re: Exactly Right....
Posted by Mizzoustance on 12/8/25 at 9:49 am to fwtex
Um, first thing...Miami beat Notre Dame, bitch! Second, obviously, Bama had a much better resume than ND and MIA, so they were ahead of them, beforw and after, the 13th game. The game ND will never play, since they are pussies and won't join a conference. This mess was created by the ACC, who happens to be Notre Dame's scheduling partner. Their stupid tiebreakers prevented their two ranked teams, MIA and UVA, from playing on Sat night. If they had played, the winner, likely MIA, and ND, would be in. BLAME YOUR PARTNER, ND!
re: Why not just roll with the BCS computer rankings
Posted by Mizzoustance on 12/8/25 at 9:39 am to GreatPumpkin
Let's go to 16 teams and NO AQs, at all. 8 first-round home games and no byes. If a G5/6, or ND is in top 16 of CFP Rankings, they get in, but just take the top 16!
re: If Bama misses the playoff, kiss the SECCG goodbye.

Bama hasn't been able to run the ball all season

Bama has gained 80 penalty yards, from 7 UGA penalties. Haha

I could give a hoot about K State, as a Mizzou alum. Our AD, Laird Veatch, played ball at K State.
