Sorry for delayed response I was traveling.
With the opening of the new football players only facility, Neville Arena outstanding facility, basketball facility only in the works, 11 million investment in Plainsmen Park and plans for JHS...
We good!

I’ll have to disagree. I think Olsen looks beautiful. The problem was that Byrne thought entirely too small. We shrunk the capacity right before joining the SEC. That was a terrible decision. Now we’re about to double the size in a couple of years.

Football-
JHS needs more club and box seats, but I’m glad we didn’t ever overbuild upper decks that will be tougher to fill in the future. Overall aesthetic and ability to hold noise is near the top of the SEC IMO. New practice facility is top notch and arguably best in the nation.
Basketball-
Perfect for our program. Best home court advantage in the country
Baseball-
Need some serious upgrades

Our's are good and comparable to what they need to be.
They were state of the art when built, but Texas will not revamp them every 5 years just because. Given the limitations of being in an urban environment, landlocked a mile from the State Capitol Building, Texas only uses eminent domain for Academic necessities, not Sports wants.
With the exception of the Moody Center, they are sports facilities with limited uses other than their intended purpose.

Greg Byrne needs to get busy building Alabama Basketball a new facility. The current one is not conducive to the fan experience or to providing a home court advantage.

Vanderbilt needs some serious bathroom upgrades.

Our facilities are fine. It's our coaching that isn't

Disch Falk Is a problem. There HAS to be some variety of grass that can make it.
Your baseball program having that field is just not right. That ballpark can’t even be considered adequate.
Football is what it is. Being in the capital and right next to I-35 I’m not sure what can be done. It will do for a number of years but that new end zone…. I understand the concept but it doesn’t look right IRL. gotta love the giant assed TV though.

The game last night probably would have been cancelled due to rain/field conditions if the field was grass. Same thing last week.
Adequate? It is field turf, not grass; that's a valid argument.
It is a more consistent playing surface than a natural field. No bad bounces, no puddles, no divots. The quality of the playing surface and whether or not it is "adequate" has NEVER been an issue.

As for my thoughts on Ole Miss:
Football:
- VHS needs a west side renovation soon. It was on the table but Kiffin wanted to focus on the NIL instead. So hopefully, we will blow the dust off of the plans soon and get that done. The rest of the stadium is nice. There are some design differences between them but it doesn't really bother me and could easily be retrofitted to match. My understanding is that we are doing the west side reno first, which also includes some updates to the north endzone as well, then we will match the east side with the west.
- The Manning practice facility just finished a reno and is easily in the top third of the conference for practice facilities.
Baseball: Swayze is one of the top 4 baseball facilities in the SEC and therefore the nation. No complaints. We also have a reno starting on it so it continues to get better.
Basketball: I honestly do not care about basketball at all. But we have a great practice facility and an awesome arena. We are definitely in the top half of the conference. But honestly, I wouldn't care if we just shuttered the program and focused solely on football and baseball. But, we still have a nice arena.

My understanding about LSU, everything is top-notch except basketball, which is overall just average P5 level stuff.
I would assume there will be a push to improve on that front, considering they now have Mulkey and McMahon. Mulkey will have a perennial Elite-8 level WBB team and get publicity, and McMahon has a longterm contract and will need resources to rebuild the men's program.
Like someone else said, you wonder how much the NIL deals will shift money away. If you have to pay the basketball team 1-2 mil annually, do those same money guys cut back on donating to the schools? I think so.

Some things could be better, but I do know that if an Alabama player needed to run a 40 yd dash, the indoor space Alabama has would allow for it.

A&M has huge donors so they should actually have top of the line facilities.
I like what they have done so far.

Thank you guys/gals for all of the informative responses. I'm a former fitness trainer and the weightrooms and facilities are always a point of interest for me, which is why I started this thread.
For the record, as a UGA fan, I'll say that ours are top notch from what I've seen and heard and seemed to be ranked pretty high in any rankings for this sort of thing that I've seen. Oregon is always on top. I guess they got a bazillion dollars of Nike money funding their projects. Bama, Texas A&M and Clemson are always pretty high. I've heard Clemson has pretty good facilities.

What are you talking about? Playing in Coleman is like playing on murderer’s row.
