Austin really isn’t that bad. It’s way cleaner than Birmingham, Memphis, Montgomery, Jackson, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans while being way more fun than Dallas, Houston, Charlotte, Jacksonville, and Atlanta.

They have not even been voted in the conference and I can already tell the SEC is taking on a bunch of misfits and wackos. The kind of people you don't want to be around, socialize with or have much contact with at all.
In my working career I have been around people from various universities and colleges. To my knowledge I have only known one person that attended the U of Texas and that was years ago.

Geez. I like visiting cities, but that's why I won't work in them. I built a 4200 SF house on 10 acres 4 years ago. Quartz counters, porcelain floors, Viking appliances, just saying - I didn't cheap it up. I pay less than that for my mortgage, and that includes property taxes and insurance. After I refinanced to 25 years at 2.75% last year, it's now almost 1/4 less than that. Just saying, that's freaking crazy.
