UGA has one of the most talented rosters in all of college football, but one running back being out was why they looked evenly matched against... Cincinnati. Makes sense.

We were missing multiple players vs Cincinnati genius but Cook especially hurt in addition to mistakes early in the game.

1st start LT
1st start LG
2nd start C
1st start RG
Missing James Cook, Tre McKitty, Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint all on offense

1st start at CB for both spots
1st start nickel db
1st start for ILB
And Richard Lecounte got on the field for the last snap of the game.

But hey, it was just 1 running back amirite?

I think it's a bit premature to write off Clemson. True, their last game against OSU was terrible, although it should be noted that OSU spent the entire off season with a single focus of beating Clemson. This showed as OSU had nothing left for the Championship game.

Otherwise, Clemson lost to an LSU team that wasn't going to lose to anybody and ND on the road without TL.

I see this game as a coin flip as well, especially since it's the first game of the season where funny things happen. UGA didn't overly impress me in their bowl game.

I don't think anyone is writing them off, but it's completely reasonable to question their talent level and personnel decisions in the secondary. My impression of them is that if you can block their front 4, you'll frick them up on the back end if you have any TE and WR talent at all.

Marcus rosemy-jacksaint 4 career receptions
Jermaine Burton 27 career receptions (400 yards)
Arian Smith 2 career receptions
Justin Robinson no stats

You didn’t mention K Jackson? Is he out of something?

Clemson returns
EJ Williams 26 career receptions 300 yards
Frank Larson Jr 27 career receptions 400 yards
Spector 16 career receptions

Closer than I thought.

You missed Kearis Jackson (41/593 yds) and D Rob (44/443 yds at UGA).

But UGA WR group has a lot to prove, lots of young talent just now getting their chance.

Rosemy-jacksaint, Burton, and Robinson were out the spring game.
Smith played the spring game with a cast on his hand.
"Back" is back healthy for the Clemson game. I dont expect Blaylock to be healthy for clemson (and probably wouldnt be needed with all of the above guys).
You appeared to be concerned about UGA WR player health. I was adding content and corrections.
Now you seem to be concerned about true freshman production from the class of 2020 (especially from guys who were injured for half of the year). This is the SEC. Most highschoolers dont walk into this conference and dominate against these defenses. I presume you already knew that. This isnt the ACC where the division champ can finish with 7 losses.

I keep seeing UGA hype, mainly from non-UGA fans so I won't blame you all.

What is the QB situation like? Do you finally have someone worth a shite?

Georgia is still trying to return to the Mark Richt era of offensive football. They have been talking about it since Kirby has been there but so far they still look light-years away. Kinda ironic, you know?

I have very, very, very high hopes for JT Daniels. Physically, he's the most gifted QB we've had since Stafford. He also threw very accurate deep balls last year, which would open up a part of the offense that we haven't had since Aaron Murray was still around.

Clempson starting QB is legit but they have nothing behind him. Their QB recruit might not even come in because of MLB draft. Will clempson take the risk of using QB runs...I seriously doubt it. Take out DJ and their offense is done.

That is exciting. Makes sense why I see the UGA hype this year

They weren’t very accurate if Mac Jones or joe burrow are setting the bar. If he improves on them, then we will be very hard to beat.

I think the backup with the unpronounceable name is going to be very good, went see much drop from TL. Think TL is way overrated, hype based primarily on that bama game where they were stealing our signals. He had some extremely pedestrian games if you made him a little uncomfortable
