We'll see. I think y'all will be a 7-8 win team at best.

add me to the confused corner...if you lose the two players who have been your entire offense, how can you say that you will undoubtedly have one of the better offenses in the conference?

Our offensive line will still be good, we will still have a stable of backs, and the fact that sumlin is a great offensive coach.

Your premise would have some merit if teams never recruited and/or no team ever had to replace great players.

It happens. Frequently.

Remember that time Case Keenum went down for the year at Houston and Kevin Sumlin proceeded to shat the bed and go 5-7?

actually, Keenum AND the 2nd string QB went down with season ending injuries in the SAME GAME (3rd game of the season).

I'm curious how well Ole Miss, LSU, ANYONE....would fare if their 3rd string QB (true fish) was thrust into the starting role part way through the 3rd game of the season?

If our defense improves we dont need JF and ME to score 40+ to win yall do relize that right. Now I am notvsaying our defense will be great next year but I am hopeful they will be able to hold teams to 20 - 25 points and I am confident our offense can score 30 without those 2. I could be wrong wont be the first or last time

That's about right.

In 2015 we should be pretty good.

Well we did beat LSU last night with our 3rd team defense, no tight end and our starting running back out. So we could start there.

When Texas A&M's defense is on the field it looks like the school of the deaf and blind is playing, heck your defense took Immodium and still couldn't stop the runs.

You have a very short memory.

I said this in another thread....It is going to be interesting to see what A&M does next season. Their back-up QB is not close to having the ability to move like JFF. He looked like a straight pocket passer. I heard how great their OL was before the game. Our DL kind of handled them most of the game, IMO. That D is going to have to improve greatly. I don't see them being able to consistently score in the 30's next year. Next year is a long way away though.

Not a good day for the OL, the first time all season.

To be fair, you probably have the best DL in the SEC.

They still have plenty talent...its the defense that killed them. Sumlin can coach some offense...offense wont be an issue next year....he needs to hire a D coordinator...the defense is atrocious.

Everyone always compares us to 2010 AU, Sumlin= Chizik, JFF=Cam

and until now I've seen that as an insult, but I'm going to embrace it if it means only needing one year to be in the same situation after losing a superstar.

And Sumlin=/= Chizik. Sumlin got dat Swagga

Until Sumlin does anything remotely accomplished in his coaching career without a QB named Keenum or Manziel, I will believe he is a man riding coattails and living a charmed life.

I'm not sure A&M will be anything remotely close without the meth head running around back there throwing up rainbows to 6'6 receivers.
