It just seems like such a huge project to take down and then rebuild in 9 months.

That area of Texas doesn't get as cold as DFW, so they have a longer period during which construction activities can take place.

Looking very nice.

Just make sure all the noise doesn't keep Mike from his afternoon nap.

Ready for festivities.

I especially like the arched windows in the club level.

Same busy carpet found in casinos, other stadium club levels. Easy to hide stains and you don't really notice how busy it is when its filled with people.

I like all 3 carpets. The suite lobby carpet is probably my least favorite.

While it would never be enough seating for the boys, if I could design a stadium I'd love my upper deck to be like this all the way around.

As far as the capacity goes, the SEZ addition has about as many seats as either of the east and west upper decks at Tiger Stadium. The older upper decks are maybe a few hundred seats bigger, if that.

Been saying this kind of expansion is the future for football stadiums...all the seats are close to the field, there's good sight-lines, and it's mainly PREMIUM seating, plus a good bit of standing room only space.

I liked the one you posted over on the Tiger Rant. Obviously a few months old, but still cool.

its strange how it's like 10 different shades of brown and grey.

I would imagine the ags (if they have 1/2 a brain) will stain it to make it all the same color once they tear down and rebuild that other side next year. Or they could pull an LSU and say frick it.

Not an expansion but SC is adding this to it's facade. I know it is common sense everywhere else to make the team's colors and logos prominent so you know exactly where you are, but up until a few years ago SC had nothing like it. Pre-Spurrier / Hyman SC played in a blank concrete structure that had our logo in the middle of the field. With the addition of flags, banners, record holders and signs like this you know it is ours.

When is south Carolina going to do a major renovation of WB? I have always been impressed by the following and support of the program no matter the record. It seems that with the support they have, they would be able to add another 10,000 seats and fill them easily, and sell premium seats. Any plans in the near future?
