That’s another subject for another thread. This is about A&M perennially sucking arse.

Even if you think Kiffin is Jesus that doesn’t change what we are taking about here.

Why do you have a picture of shirtless Myles Garrett? Jesus you are making it too easy to confirm Aggies are gay.

Triggered by the truth? aTm is and always have been a 2 tier program regardless of the conference they were in. Your constant state of delusion can’t change that fact.

Jimbo- Talk about a delusional denier of reality. The denial is strong with this one

Typical diversion: Attack the character of the writer when you have nothing valid to say to refute the arguments.

There is s no refutation

Only a very real and true story to clarify why the author has the level of animosity

if Solomon posted here he could get revenge on me by outing my identity so I didn’t really think that through though

Kind of blows the mind that UT is not on Alabama's level year in and out especially with the money and proximity to talent.

At the very least TAMU should be on Auburn's level

Both schools have ridiculous resources that if used properly could dwarf Alabama, Ohio State,Clemson, Oklahoma, Florida, even. When you consider the oil money (mineral rights) that UT has it is ridiculous that they don't buy championships because they do have that kind of money.....their boosters alone do

True, both flagship schools in Texas are very rich and have historically underachieved

I agree it is a poorly written article.

We have many of our fans to criticize Gus Malzahn, and at times I'm one of them, but say what you will, the dude does this very well. His players fit his culture and they play hard for him. Doesn't always end up in victory for us, but it always ends up in competitive games.

It's not just that they lost - one might excuse that considering 3 of those were ranked #1 at some point and all are top 12 right now.

It's that they only remained within 1 score in two of those. They lost by 2 TDs to Clemson, by 19 to Alabama, and an absurd 43 to LSU. They actually got worse on offense as the season progressed.

Slow down, skipper.

I can't read the article. I can't tell what's Solomon's nonsense and each person's opinion.

If it's just a matter of saying A&M isn't good this year then year. We're 7-5. Duh.

If it's saying we've underachieved, then we have over the last 20 years. We have a few decent years and have mostly avoided and long stretches of sub .500 play (see Arkansas). Before that, we were pretty good for ~15 yeas. And before that, the playing field was a little different and not really relevant to anything happening now.

Regardless, A&M has done everything possible to stop underachievement. We've invested in facilities, stadiums, amenities, and so on. We stepped out of our comfort zone of the Big 12/SWC to join the biggest and best conference. We've gone out and hired the best coaches money could buy. Do yall not remember how A&M had zero shot at pulling Jimbo away from powerhouse FSU? We went a took Notre Dame's DC as well.

It is really just a matter of when and just how good will we be.

Powerhouse FSU

They were sinking faster than the Titanic when Jimbo jumped ship.

We have plenty of reason to malign him . . .we don't ignore his argument. We just realize it is not nuanced or fresh or insightful.

He probably crawled out of bed, realized he had a deadline, and just lifted the stock line from his last 20 articles with a few small adjustments.

Good thing it is getting play in key Houston Chronicle markets like Kentucky and Tennessee.
