There is nothing wrong with saying both are outstanding QBs - who will probably both be very rich men soon.

Trevor. Tua is a bit better if both are 100% healthy, imo, but Lawrence is more durable to this point.

Some of that might have to do with the conferences they play in.

Jalen would’ve been great in Gus’ offense.

NFL GMs have it tough. You never know who will succeed and who will not in the league. Plus, who can be good from year to year.
I think injuries play a much bigger role in how a player ultimately plays in his career. With so many players having fairly similar skills in the league, a tweak here or there could take you from a top 10 QB to bottom rung starter, bench player in a minute.

Tua has at least been banged up a little, so far TL has hardly been touched. One good hit and I think TL could disappear.

Barring serious injury both are locks for future NFL millionaires.
It's a close call right now.
Tua's performance this November (LSU, MissSt, Auburn) + possible SEC championship game (Probably GA) is great measuring stick.
It's tough to see Lawrence's challenge's for the regular season but the playoff will determine it. He was definitely locked in last year.

Watching Lawrence these first couple games of the season, he has gotten bailed out a bunch with some of his decisions throwing the ball with some superb play by his WR's.

Both are great QB's that you can't go wrong with either one in college. Both can have a lot of success at the next level, although if I'm a GM I'd probably lean more towards Lawrence. That isn't to say Tua can't be a great QB at the next level.

Y’all are in for a rude awakening when burrow plays a decent defense. Texas is shite defensively.

What about Burrows game sealing TD pass on 3rd&17 where he was getting hit by two players makes you think he cant perform against good defenses?

Watch the games you gump. He made multiple throws that game that were elite

I think TL has more natural talent, but Tua would work harder.

Tough call

Not sure I agree, just because Lawrence coming out cold to start the season is not a good sign. Based on how he ended last year, his season should not be where it is now.

If this changes next year, then I agree, but if the trend continues into 2020 then not sure I want a cold QB for the first few games of the season. The NFL isn't the ACC; you don't play one decent team then coast.

Tua... no question

Tua reads a defense and will go through his progressions perfectly. He makes you defend the entire field.
