We’re doing a lot better than expected in the preseason.

But a lot worse than expected three days ago.

fricking roller coaster…

Honest assessment of your team after Week 10

Best defense in the country. Tennessee is the only team in FBS to not give up 20 points in a game this season. They have now played 9 consecutive games dating back to the bowl game with holding the other team to less than 20. Last team to score 20+ on Tennessee was Vandy, 2023.

If I had to bet my life savings on UF or FSU at the beginning of the season, I would’ve bet on FSU to have a better season.. well look at FSU, they are so bad!
Your team is still fighting, and playing hard, they have quit! At least you aren’t FSU bad!

Relative to recent UGA teams and talent on paper

Defense A-
Offense C-
Special teams A+

Compared to the rest of CFB in 2024

Defense A+
Offense B-
Special Teams A+

Overall B+. As good as anyone in the country when good, very average when not. Turnovers are a massive concern and will cost UGA a loss over the next 4 games if not a couple. Upside to that is normally those things even out. Downside is Beck seems to have lost his mind.

Honestly you better hope Beck keeps throwing interceptions, cause if he ever stops , no one stands a dang chance. Dawgs already winning by double digits, with the turnovers.

Seriously, if it does get fixed (unlikely given the season is 75% done) UGA is a BEAST even with some glaring deficiencies.

The good news, we will be getting a new coach

I wouldn't celebrate yet. No guarantee that happens.

Let's hope basketball has a good season.

Alabama:
1) Milroe's limitations at QB have come back to bite (hard). There's a big talent drop off from 2010-2020 years at most positions. This is a good but not great team.

2) Our two (competitive) losses look better over time and we may have overreacted to the close USCe game

3) Playoff appearance seems likely if we beat LSU which would be a successful season in yr 1 post Saban. They could beat anyone on a given day, but seem unlikely to string 3 playoff wins together with Milroe being so up/down

Surely, you jest -

None of your opening 4 OOCs have a winning record.

Offense - F
Defense - C+
ST - C

Stoops seems to have hit his ceiling between 2018 and 2021 and it appears as though Kentucky is back to being Kentucky…I don’t think UK will fire him, but the results have been trending downward for at least the past 3 years.

We've missed a couple of opportunities to do something really special with the LSU and Bama losses, but going into the season I would've predicted 4-8 or 5-7 with a string of blowout losses so I can't complain.

Historically Beamer's teams have played their best ball towards the end of the season so 8-4 or 9-3 seem within reach.

Yeah with no Lagway we are losing out to go 4-8. FSU will beat us to get the last laugh and it will be all she wrote for the Napier regime. But I firmly believe Stricklin will screw up the coaching search and we will end up with another meh hire. So getting a new coach isn't necessarily a good thing.

Arkansas is the Schrodinger's cat of the SEC and possibly of P4 football. Nobody has a clue of which Arkansas will show up until you open the box. We could beat a top ranked team in the country... or get blown out at home by them. We could blow out a bad team or hand them a win on a silver platter.

It has gotten so bad that you don't know which Arkansas you are going to get from half to half. I guess it is good on one hand... how can you prepare for Arkansas when you have no clue which team will show up? But for Hog fans it has long since lost its luster.

If we are going to suck, fine, lets get it out of the way early in the season so we can free up our weekends and get ready for basketball. If we are going to be good, great! Lets be consistently good so we can get emotionally invested in this team.

The worst thing is to be stuck on a teeter totter of uncertainty. We are like a vampire, neither living nor dead, and that sucks.

Our defense is A+ but our offense is a C at best. Beck is struggling without Bowers and McConkey. We are not playing like the #2 team in the country. It wouldn't shock me if we miss the playoffs.

quinn didn't miss any open receivers 20 yards down the field so it was a great week for us.

It hasn't cost us a chance at the playoffs and winning all the marbles. Not yet...
