Looks like Texas got tired of their nutty AD being abrasive to the boosters and fans. Be prepared to hear all sorts of rumors about them wiling to pay through the nose for someone competent.

First rumor to hit social media is that money people at Texas may push to make Mack Brown AD. If they're dumb enough to consider that I think all our ADs are safe.

Realistic candidates are probably the TCU AD, Jurich at Louisville or Luck at NCAA headquarters.
After those 3, there is no telling.
