It wouldn’t be because they’ve done anything to earn it or deserve it, but whatever helps to keep those damned Marxist Dems out of the drivers seat is a plus.

So in that light, I would hope the Republican chances are good.

All they prove is they are no better than the very thing they purport to detest.

It’s always been about revenge for these types.

Many of our DC establishment types nowadays remind me of watching those old Soviet Union mummies you’d catch footage of during their May Day parades, barely able to wave and looking like they’d fall over at any second if a stiff wind happened to hit them.

Other than enriching themselves, putting on entertaining, sound-bite heavy hearings, going on TV opinion shows and running for re-election, does Congress ever really do much anything of actual substance?

I’m glad to hear they are being treated as the petulant children they are.

That’s how modern Democrats should be treated because it’s become more evident with each passing year they are nothing more than entitled, petulant children.

If they don’t get their way they throw fits and scream and break things and threaten to do even worse.

Frick them. They haven’t earned the right to be treated as adults.

I’m old enough to remember when Dems would lose….and then gracefully go away for awhile to regroup and try to do better next time.

Well, it’s an interesting POV you’ve held when it comes to DJT. Hell, you even seem to give the crazed Dems a pass.

I still believe as crazy as they are, the Socialist Dems would’ve taken some advantage during these years to play the long game and help out in ridding the GOP of all those “true conservatives”.

It’s interesting to wonder why the Dems don’t seem threatened in the least by the notion of having to potentially deal with those true conservatives in a post-Trump world.

You’d think if Trump was a “Republican in name only”, the Democrats would’ve been trying to help him in any way they could offer to deep-six and remove all the “true conservatives” out there.

I’ve been no huge fan of Massie’s approach in recent years but by default, I’m always a little dubious when these “victims” pop up right around the time an election is about to occur.

One can be “empathetic”, if inclined to be so, in certain situations…but still try to do the responsible thing. She didn’t.

Much like this woman, too many have fallen hook, line and sinker into the whole Oppressed/Oppressor political narrative and as a result they get completely brainwashed into thinking their level of “empathy” for someone “oppressed” is the defining hallmark of “how good a person they are”.

They then are prone to continually making irresponsible decisions in judgement and lose complete sight of rational, common sense thought processes.

In this case, it needlessly cost an older gentleman his life because someone “didn’t want to feel bad”.

She seems to at least have been momentarily shaken from her programming. But whether even this is enough to finally wake her up is anyone’s guess.

And there are so many more out there just like her. That’s the very sobering part to consider if this society is to ultimately survive itself.
