The tenders are nothing special and the sauce and fries both suck. Slim Chicken's and Chik-Fil-A both blow them off the map. Cane's is so forgettable that it has to be deliberately aimed at the pallette of a six year old.

Frying up chicken fingers and making Guthrie’s sauce is about as easy as anything that you can cook. For the $16 a Cainiac box costs, you can make a pile of fried chicken fingers. And they will probably he better than Cane’s unless you are a terrible cook.

Canes is OK but I make the best chicken in my kitchen. For fast food, no one has topped the Colonel's original recipe yet. I do like several others, but they are not better than KFC OG.
Also if you need to put sauce on it, then it isn't any good.

Raising Cane’s is nothing special. Plus they increase price while decreasing portion size.

The canes out of state are still really good.

We ate Zaxby's for years when we lived in GA. It is literally crap when compared to Cane's. Every time we drive by Zaxby's on Airline in BR we laugh out loud that anyone would eat chicken fingers there.

I don’t trust anyone who doesn’t dip their chicken nugget in sauce.
Next time you fry some chicken tenders mix two parts mayonnaise, one part ketchup, a healthy dose of Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, a lot of black pepper, a tad bit of cayenne pepper, onion powder and smoked paprika. Mix it all up and enjoy. It is also great for fried mushrooms.

I have never had a chicken tender or wing from Zaxby’s that I would say was really good. Now their zalads? The zalads I have gotten have always been delicious.

Recipe for Zaxby’s chicken:
1 pound of chicken marinated in 8 pounds of salt.
Smother in salt batter.
Fry.

Slim Chicken smokes Canes. Popeye's chicken sandwich is better than anything on Canes menu. Sauce is meh. Baton Rouge is meh .

If you visit Baton Rouge and the best food you eat is Cane’s then you either have poor taste in food or you’re blind.

Many preferred Bailey’s, but Graves built the first off campus location nearly next door. (We lost the greatest honey mustard ever that day….)

F-that, get some real Cajun/Creole in your belly down there. I really don't like red stick much, but it can't be denied you will eat well if you love that sort of cuisine and hit up the right places. Don't go for the clean, flashy restaurants...look for the shitholes with almost all Louisiana license plates in the parking lot.
