The squad is made up of 5 and 6 year Super Seniors. Indy is basically a Semi Pro team out there competing against kids 3-4 years younger. These guys are from the BRYCE YOUNG recruiting class…..

It’s honestly incredible watching them play.. mostly no-name guys who just terrorize the other teams full of four and five stars..
Just wow.
Just wow.

This.
You can have the money but if you’re Al Davis picking Jamarcus Russell and Todd Marinovich, it’s a waste of time.
Cig seems to be elite at picking talent.

Yet only one team/coach is “doing it” which contradicts your presumption. Everyone CAN’T do it. It takes unbelievable prep, planning, and a little bit of catching lightening in a bottle. Cignetti may be the best coach in America, but those unicorns are few and far between.

That was NOT my point.
You are correct. Everyone can't do it.
But anyone CAN do it.
That is the point. That is a fact. And that will drive college football fans insane.

Mark Cuban ..an Indiana alumni dropped a big donation for football...how many schools have guys like that? I know Texas Tech does... Oklahoma State had Boone Pickens but he's dead now..this current model is unsustainable at what point does a school say no we are not paying $10 million for a player..not yet.. college football needs collective bargaining like the NFL but I don't know when all this will happen but it's cool the same top schools are not there no Bama, Ohio State, USC, etc ...right now it's the Wild West

You got to have right coach and a team not loaded with prima Donna’s. They play as much as team as anyone I have seen. Most teams now-a-days are bunch individuals running around. No character.

It proves any team can do it.
If Indiana, why not Kentucky? Heck, why not Notre Dame?
Purdue has no excuse. Ole Miss has no excuse. Auburn has no excuse .... and the list goes on.
If Georgia had not gone back to back in 2021-2022 I would be beside myself. You mean - Indiana can do this, but Georgia can't? Unacceptable!!
So this kind of takes away any excuse from ... any team. Vandy, Northwestern, Texas, Texas aTm, USC, Southern Cal, UCLA, etc., etc., etc.
No excuses. None. Indiana is doing it.
Georgia was always the weak link during the WNA - sad.

Cig is a one of one coach. Best in modern CFB history.
There aren't any more of him out there.

There are several ways in the NIL era a team can do it
Of course you need good coaching
You can
1. Throw a shite ton of money at top recruits and build a team if you keep them from transferring
2. Throw a shite ton of money at the top players in the portal and senior players with lots of experience
3. Somehow convince a talented group to stick together the traditional way for 3-4 years and win through experience and team cohesion
