No one on this board wants to admit it, but the Big Ten is a superior football conference than the SEC right now.

The SEC is bad at football. Period.

I mean, in some ways yes, and in some ways no.

A day in day out schedule in the SEC beats teams up physically and emotionally. Those Big10 teams get 3 big games a year, and the rest are cupcakes. It’s easier in many ways.

HA HA HA. The old "we beat each other up" argument? Which is it, "iron sharpens iron" or "we are too beat up from our tough regular season"?

The last three years have shown that the SEC doesn't deserve white glove treatment.

The money and the power got to the SEC.

Other conferences are hungry.

Our players are ready to declare for the draft as soon as they start one game.

This! They also have the benefit of a full season of fame film. Something SEC teams don’t have until week 15/16

BiG Champion is playing the SEC runner ups. An ACC team that didn't even play for their CCG beat the B1G runner ups. Lets wait and see how this all plays out.

Herb Kiirkstreet needs to check himself - the time frame he referenced - starting with the season Mich won the CFP through today's Rose Bowl - the SEC & Big Tin have played 23 games -

SEC 11 wins
Big Tin 11 wins

Alabama appears to be on the way to giving the Big Tin a 1 game edge after this outcome -

the time frame he referenced began with Missouri beating Kirkstreet's alma mater in the Cotton Bowl -

Absolutely false. SEC is poor compared to B1G because Stankey allowed ESPN to take the SEC out back and bend it over on the TV contract.

I hate to remind you, but the sec had 5 teams in playoffs and then played itself in the playoffs twice.

B1G went 1 and 2 vs SEC in regular season.

The B1G has the far superior TV contract which gives every team more money. Plus most of the B1G school have a lot more big money donors. It was bound to catch up to the SEC eventually.

With that being said, it still wouldn’t surprise me if UGA wins it all.

I’m not about to blame this on the “TV deals”

Same old SEC argument. SEC teams are tissue paper soft and have been exposed the last 3 years.....and today is just a huge embarrassment for the SEC....fans should bow their heads in shame.

There is no denying the bowl records are what they are.

There is also no denying that SEC conference play is much different than the big10

The only silver lining is watching honkies do it. White boys have about pussed out where I live.

I don’t agree at all. The difference has definitely narrowed and Big 10 has benefited from their 3 best teams being very good this year. Bama just isn’t very good this year. No disrespect to Ole Miss, but the second best team in the conference right now is Texas and at full strength they would have given IU a lot better fight than Bama did. I think UGA wins it all.

But thrilled for my IU alum in-laws right now!

We could not care less. We'd rather see rivals fail than see the conference do well.
