He sucks, but will the new coach get the funding and resources with 15% of the annual revenue sharing budget going to basketball (also assuming little appetite from boosters)?
Let’s just rock at football, then count down the days to the first pitch at the Box.

There’s only 3 schools that have won 3 or more Natty’s this century and Ole Miss ‘aint one of them, but that school in Baton Rouge is. LSU>The University of Mississippi.

Dude got promoted because of Kiffin and started talking smack about his former boss immediately. Yet, was ONLY in that position with his mediocre defense to take the reins of a CFP team BECAUSE of Kiffin. The University of “Mississippi’. I hear J-Crew restocked their khakis.

True, however the coach and roster do impact their chances. Move on to baseball.

Yet, god could care less who wins, loses, gets injured or scores a touchdown. Zero influence on the game and doesn’t guarantee you will get home from the game safely.

They landed, Lane opened the door and said go check with your mom to see if it’s ok to come spend the next 365 days in Baton Rouge. I’ll wait here.

Vandy really sucks.
You are dumb.
The "SEC Bubba" is strong in this one.
The SEC schedule (8 or 9 games) has nothing to do with the CFP when half the SEC flat out sucked. It’s no longer a “gauntlet” to get through.
Speaking of defense, I was at that Peach Bowl in 2019. 63 against the Sooners and could have been 100.
There was no “mid-tier” SEC. Half the SEC flat out sucked
Sure is refreshing to watch a game and not hear SEC Bubbas

Say neither of these teams could make it though the SEC “gauntlet”.
re: Unimpressed with this old Indiana team

That’s what’s most impressive about them. Little NFL talent but amazingly disciplined, well-coached and generally do not make mistakes. 15-0 and we recently saw them destroy NFL talent at Bama and Oregon. I’m very impressed.
Schools with the biggest bandwagons in football

One thing SEC football fans have in common is loyalty to their school, regardless of record. We honor the traditions, have spirited conversations, wear our gear and bleed the colors. Likewise for many schools in other conferences like Ohio State, Nebraska, Clemson, Penn State, etc.
What are some of those schools where a large portion of the fanbase only pays attention if they’re winning (or new fans jump on the wagon). Miami playing tonight comes to mind. USC, UCLA and Oregon seem to fit the bill.

No, very underwhelming. We went to the game at South Carolina the year before and Willy B was much louder.

We lived in Tampa for 10 years and became big Lightning fans. Been to many games, including Stanley Cup series, and hockey is the most exciting sport beyond football.
Then lived in Cincinnati for 14 years and our son is a senior at Miami of Ohio. Huge hockey school and the games are a blast!

I don't see any more dynasties with NIL and the portal with having to recruit your team every year. Any program can stock up and load a team with money and the appetite to spend.
We lived in Cincinnati and went to the Peach Bowl in Atlanta, but watched this game with several of our neighbors who were Bengals fans and excited with a hunch JB would soon be their quarterback.
