Left side has limited experience. To be determined.

Center, right guard, right tackle all are very good and all have experience.

If Jimbo runs the RPO more this year (which I think he will due to having actual QB depth) I think he can be really dangerous as a running threat.

RPO plays have nothing to do with the quarterback running.

Huh? You know he was, right??? He scares me. True fish Conner Weigman is the future star- just don't know if Jimbo will trust him. In fact, I'm sure he wont.

Depends on how the play is designed and what your qb is capable of. Correct on your traditional video game rpo for example would be i/z with a backside slant from the slot reading the outside backer/nickel. Now if you have a capable qb you have a lot more options. You can even split block the offensive line and throw in the third option of your qb running. Or you just have it as a qb designed run with pass option. Look no further than Oregon on just about every play with marriota.

Now is Jimbo going to do that, nope.

Durkin was at Ole Miss and Maryland. I don’t think ATM is similar talent wise.

Durkin was DC at Florida in 2013 and 2014. Michigan DC in 2015.

2013: 15th in scoring defense
2014: 30th in scoring defense
2015: 6th in scoring defense

Daniel doesn't know what an RPO is.

Sad.

Didn’t you swear that Max was guaranteed the starting job? Was that you?

No

I just said he'll likely be the starter in my opinion.

Im watching the condensed version of the Kent St. game. Some things i noticed.

1. Tight game in the first half until an absolute terrible decision by the Kent QB leading to an interception in the end zone.
2. King has wheels, but his two interceptions were bad reads. First was tipped, but thrown into coverage. Second, the corner jumped the route. King also air mailed a lot of balls that would have been caught for large gains.
3. The read option is very awkward to watch for yall and i see it being ran in practice still. Why?

The downvoting on this site is hilarious. It is like a bunch of chimps have been hired to mash the thumbs down button all day long.

I hope that is the case, because if a bunch of good old boys and bubbas are really hanging out on this site and melting all day and downvoting in response, we have big societal problems.

If i remember correctly, The tipped pass wasn’t to the TE. He reached up and got a hand on a ball going to a receiver down the field.

We run it because it’s effective.

Had it been to the tight end it would have probably been caught. The intended receiver was covered and that’s where the tip came from. It was more a bounce than tip.

ETA: off work all week and just watching other teams videos

Ya I couldn’t tell if the TE started to shut it down which would compress the window still not a great decision and agree on the several airmails.

Disagree. WR was open. DB was trailing. If Wydermyer doesn’t get his hand up it’s an easy catch.

That’s not entirely true. Yes it is mainly either “hand to RB or throw”, but having a QB with an elite running ability adds a third element to the scheme which makes it that much more difficult to defend.
