Have you guys ever seen Texas A&M have a good team?

Their meat gazing team is top notch.

More importantly, why has Georgia dodged them for the last 14 years?

Consistently pretty good but never great

My grandfather said they won a natty a few years before his dad was born.

There wasn't much worse than growing up in Houston back in the late 80s and early 90s pre-internet when the aggy hayseeds would call into Sports Radio 610 and talk about how this was their year and insert one of (Bucky Richardson, Lance Pavlas, or Corey Pullig) were going to finally win it all for them.

I moved away from Houston after 1994 when the NCAA finally came and slapped them around for the rampant wanton cheating and by the time I made it back in 1999 most of the completely out of control yokel blind optimism had been reigned in to some extent.

Since the turn of the millennium they have had two good teams.... Manziel's first year and the covid year but even the COVID year they got shat on by 28 points by Alabama and of course the CFP committee shat all over them by picking perpetually overrated BKND and tOSU and their marvelous 6 game schedule.

2012 was a good football team.

There was no seeing them the last time they were good. But you could hear about their games on the radio right after the Little Orphan Annie show or news updates about Hitler invading Poland.

I’m saying that Georgia has twice the talent everyone else did, including A&M, and their best teams weren’t that great if the bar for great is a NC, which only Bama was winning.
