With the exception of 1996, Texas A&M did quite well in the 90s, especially from 1991-1994.

If 11-2 (7-1 SEC) is considered embarrassing results, I suppose Georgia is embarrassed along with Texas A&M.

The Kentucky Wildcats football team claims one national championship, which was awarded for the 1950 season based on Jeff Sagarin's computer ratings. They also won two conference championships in the Southeastern Conference, in 1950 and 1976.
If they can claim fake NC's in Tuscaloosa, I guess they can do the same in Lexington

Last year’s Texas A&M team lost to every good team it played. They were not a good team. Records can be deceiving.

Oh, so aside from the two national championships, you DO agree that Georgia is embarrassed with any record that consists of more than one loss? Gotcha. Great standards to have — I commend you. But most fair-minded fans would disagree.

They claim it but were not awarded it. Sagarin retroactively recognized UK as their champion based on statistics. Oklahoma was the consensus champion for 1950. Aggies were crowned the champions in the season it happened.
