I agree. I tried to explain it in non-condescending rhetoric but it’s time to move on.

They played one SEC team with a conference record over .500, and lost. The one 4-4 team they played didn’t have their starting QB.

Their 7 wins came against almost the 7 worst teams in the league with a combined record of 12-44.

They beat the 8th, 10th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th place teams in the league.

It was the easiest schedule in SEC history.

In meat judging, yes. In football, no. Sure they made the CFP last year, but it was the easy schedule not skill.

2012 had JFF. He was great, but it's a team sport.

Let's go back to 1998. aggy is supposed to be incredible. Lost the season opener, but it was to #2 FSU. Won the next 10 games. Already clinched the Big 12 South as they head into Austin for the final regular season game. What happens? A mid Longhorn team wins as Ricky Williams breaks the NCAA Division I career rushing record. aggy wins the Big 12 CCG but gets trounced in their bowl game.

I'm not old enough to speak from experience on the 1939 squad.

Yup. Easy for UGA fans to talk trash. Less easy for us. I do like Elko and the current trajectory of our program.

I think LSU has a reason to be hopeful with Kiffin and CWJ. Not so sure about Baker at DC. The first 3 games will tell us a lot in Year 1. You guys need to look at the progress at the end of Year 1. If you win 2 of those first 3 games... lookout. I think you boatrace Clemson. I think at Ole Miss will be tough. A&M will be at night in Death Valley. Fun game!

UGA will be UGA with Kirby.

Ole Miss. Lot of talent. New offensive staff. Can they keep the mojo going? I think Pete will have a good defense.

For t.u., I honestly don't think Sark as is good as folks think. Schedule is a normal SEC schedule this year.

Auburn and UF are wait and see for two years. UK same but wait 3 years.

Vandy. I really like Clark Lea. Very good coach. Can he he get it done at Vandy?

Glanga.... I think Lebby is a good coach. He either gets it done or is on the hot seat. But I am the guy that thinks Croom got run off way too soon. Yeah, I may be an old goat.

Who did I miss? Oh Blow U. Venables is a really good DC. They will field a really good defense. No clue about the offense.

For what its worth, I am in the 504 most days.
