Every single thread was just about how bad Clemson was. No mention of how good LSU was.
They all said they would beat Clemson by the same amount
Also how bad Sam was and the stadium. lol are you guys serious?
Imagine watching that game thinking the crowd and LSU weren’t any good

Oh that’s all the cope today. Clemson is the new Cumberland, apparently. It’s the melt I was expecting once the game ended.

I think what stood out to me the most about LSU was how well they executed in a Game 1. Clemson could barely execute handoffs on multiple occasions. LSU beat the shite out of a mid team, which is what a high level team would do.

Definitely look more of a complete team (like Les days with a modern day offense) defense was stout, gonna be hard to match the length of DJ P, the O ran the ball well, passing game might have a little question mark. But you have to admit that Clemson team is horrible. Their QB room alone are sunbelt conference quarterbacks.

I don’t think any guy would enjoy watching their hot ex-wife, who they begged to stay, living a better life pretty much as soon as she divorced him.

Agree. 355 and 2 TD when you are averaging 5 YPC is great production, but we both know a Kiffin/Weis offense has more in it.

That was pretty much my read on the game.
Clemson is bad. Their defense was decent up front in the middle and in the secondary.
Our passing game has to step up.

I don't see any posts on the Ole Miss board in this regard.
I predicted an easy LSU win in the preseason threads. Dabo hiring Chad Morris is a telltale sign of a coach who's out of ideas, like Houston Nutt hiring David Lee or Les Miles hiring Cam Cameron. I didn't think Clemson would be quite that bad though. I was thinking more along the lines of 38-13.

Yes Clemson was bad but we beat a power 4 opponent like they were an NAIA school.

Yep. Clemson sucks. LSU is good. LSU did their part.
The disconnect is that LSU fans feel like SEC fans were telling them that Kiffin can’t coach. That doesn’t seem to be true, but ok.
LSU fans should feel vindicated, and it’s only natural to overestimate how good the performance was.
